Part 1: hltv.org/forums/threads/2272482/last-30-.. Part 2: hltv.org/forums/threads/2272708/og-vs-vp.. now.. Part 3: gyazo.com/a05e3bddc6749263155628fdcb6d32.. Undoubtedly it has had ups and downs.. but it is possible. This will likely be the last time I post about my betting :) . Just figured I'd share a positive story to any other casual gamblers out there. Bet responsibly! Only risk what you can afford to lose! Cheers mens

+1 I agree, it can easily become an addiction. However, it can also be a fun side if you can afford to lose. Those who do not have that discipline should not come close to it. However, how can one truly know until they try right? I agree with your statement though

I used to be a degenerate so it feels weird to see other people doing it, I just feel like you will do the same mistakes I did, which isn't necessarily true. this is my biggest loss when I was like 17. went from 10 euros to 1700 in 17 days playing poker then lost almost all in one night. that was a huge amount of money for me at the time and I know it's really fucking hard to stop being a degenerate because even after that I lost some 200-500 rolls still. imgur.com/a/v9aQCRC

if you are able to bet 10k on a softbookie your account is -100k or something anyway gz
2020-04-03 03:29
Or he's new there Or maybe 365 don't limit who go all in/bet huge % often cuz they will go broke eventually? Idk

2020-04-03 03:40
You do that asap. Cause "this time I have control" sounds like that is exactly the right thing for you to do.
2020-04-03 04:24
Please whithdraw at least 5k and be happy, don't gamble those 21k recklessly

I have set gambling restrictions on my account to prevent me from betting further, thankfully bet365 does this. Doing withdraws now - doing small amount first to ensure it goes smooth than the rest.
2020-04-03 03:39

bet365, bet carefully/responsibly though!
2020-04-03 03:43
You need a vpn at least. I don’t know how you would withdrawal your funds tho, they won’t deposit into a us account. I have a friend in Canada that set up a prepaid account for me. That’s what you need as well, cus if they catch the deposits they will freeze your entire account, even funds that were not acquired from gambling
2020-04-05 07:18
And now being laid off I couldn’t bet enough to even cover a pack of smokes lol and they denied my unemployment so now I’m broke. First time in my adult life. Not fun but hey at least I’m still alive and and a roof over my head! For at least another 15 days anyway Hahahaha could only pay 1/2 months rent and landlord is pissed. Hope a miracle happens and I get a call from my union for a job!

I would say congratz. Cash out most of them, and makes some fixed deposit. Make sure you know how to control yourself when you start losing or you will lose everything and regret

Thank you. I am in the process of that now. I think I'm done with gambling, it has been a roller-coaster and I could tell quite quite the story. I'm choosing to leave it behind while I'm up, I know the luring trap it has. I will never regret from gambling again. This is it :)
2020-04-03 03:42
Good to hear that! It is always good to see people quit betting after they won enough.

Truly, I know I'm saying words right now, but trust me it is currently being put in action! I will still do the odd $5 superbowl bet with irl friends though .... once we get sports back :(
2020-04-03 03:45
You will get the itch again, personally if it was me I’d cash out 11k and keep the rest in the account to actually gamble with. Like a cpl long shot bets and some safer bets. Trust me I was a HUGE gambler I had about the same luck. Came up on a big bet cashed everything out and stopped. Around 3-6 months later I was like it’s time so I gave another go at it. I didn’t lose everything back but I did lose a sizeable amount. If I would of just left some in there to play with I wouldn’t of lost what I did. We all have vices, just come to grip with yours and do exactly what you said. Only lose what you can. Keep some in there to scratch that itch. Trust me it will hit again loland if you do lose that 1.2k you will know the streak is over. Know what I’m saying? But it’s hard to leave when things are good and when you do you always think you can do it again. I hope you really take this advice, plus it’s fun. When your fun stops it’s hard to replace it with anything else so you always go back. I wish oh I wish I had someone tell me this
