Occasional funding in the times of crises aren't socialism, it's like saying that granting a democratic government more power during wars makes them dictatorships.

Maybe you are living behind the moon judging by your name. China, the country that is lead by an oppressive one Party system that calls himself a communist party, even though workers are getting exploited and their President being a dictator who Just snaps and unliked Party members are suddenly Missing + their capitalist economy. That's neither communism or socialism. Same goes for russia, Just Putin being a dictator with a corrupt wealthy Elite Like in China. And denmark being communist or socialist , lul.. maybe you should recheck your poltics..

In 2007/8 the poor & the stupid suffered the most, this time it will be Small Business owners/ Middle Class and Normal workers, the poor will be insulated for now, due to Unemployment Checks. SME's are about to be annihilated from the Western World. Honest, millions of them are about to disappear for ever. Everything will soon be owned by the FED, the BoE, the ECB, the larger Banks and the mega Corps....

This is a USA Term. In UK we call it Universal Credit, used to call it Unemployment Benefits. Last few weeks more than 1 Million people in Britain applied for UC.... Money from .Gov to People who have not got a Job/Not Working. But different from money that people get who cannot work due to injury/disabled etc.

You just answered your question. Changing words so they make more sense phonetically is a bad reason, it's lazy. Check and cheque have different meanings, why should they be changed to be spelled the same. English is the most widespread language so all this does is give people learning it as their second language a bigger headache

An absolutely savage depression is coming. 10 million people have lost their Jobs in the US Alone in the last 2 weeks !!! Have some advise if you want to read it... If you have the space, build a Chicken Coop (look at Youtube vids for how to do that, example = youtube.com/watch?v=QSHoCmT4l_I),) takes up about 2.5 - 3 meters in length. Then look up No Dig Vegetable Gardens, example = youtube.com/watch?v=0LH6-w57Slw Quite easy even for older people, should be a doodle for younger peeps :) These sorts of things will help you massively in the years to come, I wish you all well and wish you all Luck in what's coming.

Ok, you go quietly into the long night if you wish. Happy Travels :) 3 Hours work to much for you, too hard to do what people in the 1930's did ? I once read about a woman who had to move into a Chicken Coop, she raised 7 children in that time and place. But you think it's far too much hassle as you have been cocooned by easy money and stupid dreams from the so called golden age of the west. If you don't win the Lottery you are going to give up? Really? I know real Germans, they try hard and do not give in to minor or major set backs. No way are you a true German.

The US.Gov has just decreed that 10 Million people no longer have a Job, can no longer feed their Families or pay their Bills, they must now bow to that same US.Gov for Unemployment Checks. All in 2 weeks.... Socialism has just become the norm throughout the western world, 30% of people, myself included, now needs a .Gov handout instead of being able to make their own living in this crazy world. The Fed is pure evil, has bought nothing to the American people but misery, bust after boom after bust after boom. Dotcom bust in 2001/2, the Great Financial Crash in 2007/8 and the Mega Depression 2020/? There were loads more before these, look them up, search them out.

"National Review is an American semi-monthly editorial magazine focusing on news and commentary pieces on political, social, and cultural affairs. " Lmao. Nice source. Doesn't seem very reliable even for the west. Nice. Also, nice article from January. Way to use an outdated article. Although January isnt that far away, considering this current situation, that's a long time ago. PjMedia? Honestly. Every news source has a bias and slight propaganda in some way. Its like, if you don't read the news you won't know what's going on. But you also won't know what's going on even if you do read the news. So, wtf do we do now?
2020-04-03 06:02
Yeah, people tend to think that the news source they are reading is the most reliable and unbiased one. Like, every other source is bullshit. Especially guys that only speak one language

Only thing we can do is to think hard with our common sense. Apply reason instead of fear and belief in the pure bullshit that is the MSN/News. 1 good indicator is how many people do you know OR know of, who is in Hospital in serious condition due to this virus. I know about 70 people + relatives, not one is in trouble cause of this thing. Do your own math and come to your own conclusions. As for what to do now, make Chicken Coops and get GOLD Bitchez !
2020-04-03 09:46
Read the sources they used then tard. How about apple daily? Are they trustworthy enough for you? And how exactly is national review not a trustworthy site? They've had maybe 1 incident where they made a false article and that was because they were quoting the daily mail. You seem to be in denial that my initial claims were correct so you're grasping for strings. Also, tell me which country has done the most testing by far. Here's a hint: my flag and flair
2020-04-03 14:42
In times like this I'm glad I own land and woods. Land is reliable, it provides safe space, allow you to grow food, etc ... If it goes mad I'll just bulk up the fences and load up the rifle.
2020-04-03 03:59
It sure is nice in times like these but you do pay for it during a bull run.

2020-04-03 04:07
Bull run is when the market is climbing at a fast pace. I think woodland has a return of 4% whereas the stonks give 6-8% on average. Huge difference over a lifetime.
2020-04-03 04:10
We don't own lands for profits and investments. We own lands because our ancestors owned it before and built on it. Also we don't really need money so it could be valued millions we wouldn't sell it, (and it's not worth millions).

I have 2 horses (could be useful to work), about 40 sheeps (and a dozen of young ones growing), 4 hen, and around 2000 sq m² of permaculture garden providing consequent amount of vegetables each season (we do a lot of jars, sauces, etc ... to preserve and store the surplus. I'm not living there right now (people take care of it) but if it goes crazy that's gonna be where I'll crash for sure, far away from big cities, big stone house that resisted centuries, wars, kings and revolutions, And there's a lot of bedrooms so we can host many family members.

Sounds fantastic, my advise, go there right now or as soon as you can. In a few weeks or months, everything will go tits up. If you have Guns make sure you have Ammo, if you have that covered make sure you have LOTS of security lights. I truly envy you, rare to find anyone even a little bit prepared !
2020-04-03 04:20
I have hunting rifles and enough ammo to hunt for years. But I don't think I'll have to fear humans that much as it's in a very rural region with only 168 inhabitants/km² which is ridiculously low and even lower if you take a shorter area( first neighbors 1km away and separated by a lot of wood. It's almost impossible for someone who doesn't know that place already to come there.

That sounds like the perfect place for the shit that could easily break out when/IF the food stops. Are you on good terms with the neighbours ? If you don't know them well get to know them quick and maybe offer them help if they need it (just an idea). Can be a big help in a crisis. From all that i'm reading, everyone is making a mess of this thing, in all sorts of the worst ways. I would love to be able to be far away from a city but i'm an Idiot, never made enough dosh to be able to afford a place in the country. Best I can hope to do is a small chicken coop and a few raised veggie beds. Hope to God this doesn't get to a full scale depression but I don't see a way that that doesn't happen, not with all of the fuckups that are going on right now.

Clueless fellas who blindly ran after capitalism will soon find out why it's far not the best construct and communism was falsely tried. Those who can't think for themselves will turn for socialism dropping a hint if there's anything left for them for they need help and the capitalism abandoned them. Then years and thousands of people's lives saved after, it gets back to being barbaric and the most cruel direction. Then it repeats again and again.
2020-04-03 04:11
I personally think in times of crises, a Socialist government does the best crisis management but during calm times Capitalism's profit motive boosts the innovation and productivity. That's why a combination of these two is the system and THAT is truly never tried. China is slowly shifting into the capitalist spectrum, given their mixed economy but the totalitarianism is really a big downside. USA is actually a good revolution away from that perfect system but corporations worth trillions of dollars aren't going to make that happen.
2020-04-03 04:26
NA, Europe and if the numbers from China are correct, then slightly China. Africa doesn't even bother apparently as they have worse viruses to deal with like Ebola. Middle East seems to be doing relatively okay for the time being except for Iran. Tbh the virus is too fcking unpredictable i can't even envision how things are gonna turn out in 2 weeks. I expected Italy to be the worst for a long time but USA literally doubled them in case numbers in a short period of time.
