I am not a PC expert but will 8GB ram be enough for you
2020-04-08 08:23
only 8 GB ram in 2020 is not enough
2020-04-08 08:24
Explain youtube.com/watch?v=5qVZio_e87Q I am more worried about the vega 3.
2020-04-08 08:33
i run 8gb ram on a setup that i made 9 months ago and it is alright for now. i will upgrade eventually but if you want to just play csgo it is fine. the more the better tho
2020-04-08 11:20
Ofc 16gb ram would be better and i would recommend to buy it, but 8gb is alright for even the newest games.

*some of the newest games some games are quite RAM intensive, Escape from Tarkov for example, which lead me to upgrade fro 8gb to 16gb (wanted to do that anyway) and then to 32gb
2020-04-09 11:05
When you are on a budget, u buy what you can afford. I would even recommend going with a single stick for future upgrade, despite the lost in performance

16gb ram is the standard nowadays
2020-04-08 08:31
if i upgrade from 8 to 16 does it have to be the same brand? or mhz/size is enough?
2020-04-08 08:33
doesnt have to be the same brand, im running different brands even with different mhz since 3 years with no problem. the faster ram will then use the highest speed the slower ram is capable of, so they have the same mhz

Just to explain what happens: if you have a 3000mhz ram stick and you put a 2666mhz ram stick next to it, the speed of the 3000mhz ram stick will be lowered to 2666mhz. It should not give any issues, but it is not what you want. The same brand sticks would be better if you want to overclock them.

keep it the same, not all brands meet well, going for the same brand is the best choice but u can match some rams but u need to check how to match rams from different brands
2020-04-08 08:37
different kinds of ram always are more likely to make problems
2020-04-08 08:37
I had 8 gigs in like 2006 son.

weird flex but ok
2020-04-08 08:44
Having 8 gigs is basically like having a bubble monitor in 2020. Flex would be saying what I have now.

16 gb of ram is the minimum in 2020. Don’t listen to those idiots saying 8gb is all you’ll need.

It is and will always be. At least for CSGO, but be clever and you will understand that you won't play AAA games Ultra with a 300€ pc

No shit, I think OP knows that..

Is it a prebuilt one? I would sincerely avoid these type of setups as some things may sound decent for a budget computer you appear to be looking for, a Ryzen 3. But others may not, - the RAM . brand/speed/amount (8GB is short for these days, and if the brand is bad its performance will not live up to the challenge to make the most out of the CPU) - the case (decent air flow, good size for the hardware etc.) - the PSU (decent brand that provides its actual power, needed for the present and the future in case of upgrades) - the SSD (decent brand which provides decent speed and durability, together with the amount of space being 256GB really short these days, just like with the RAM)

Hey, so you have any tips for a good airflow case? I am just in the process of picking parts for a 1000€ gaming build and its gonna look like this (Spanish prices) but ihavent decided on the case: Let me know what u think CPU: Ryzen 3600 (173€) GPU: Radeon 5700 XT (Powercolor Version, either budget 370€ or red dragon 400€) RAM: 2x8GB 3200Mhz Corsair Vengeance (84€) Motherboard: MSI B450 Mortar Max (90€) PSU: be quiet 600w 80plus Gold semi modular (98€) Storage: 500Gb m2 SSD PNY XLR8 (85€) + 2TB HDD Seagate Barracuda (58€) Case: Undecided, maybe NZXT H510 (80€), Phantek eclipse p300 ir p400 (60-100€)

I really wouldn't know how to recommend anything specific. Though, after a quick look at some suggested setups the CM MB511/520 seem like a neat pick (RGB version if you want the fancy fans right away). I have also seen a similar setup to yours where it is recommended to drop the stock cooler, a pretty poor one as far as I have read, and go for something like this, Arctic Freezer 34 eSports DUO. Other changes were the GPU (XFX Radeon RX 5700 XT RAW II 8GB GDDR6, on a 350€ prom price though), the RAM (2x8Gb Corsair Vengeance LPX 3200Mhz CL16), the MB (Gigabyte B450 Aorus Pro), the PSU (CM MWE 650 80+ Bronze 650W) and a different SSD setup (one 1Tb SSD M.2). Maybe some of this helps to adjust yours.

If your Budget is 300, then ok. For csgo 8 gb ram enough. There is no game that needs 16 gb ram and can run with this configuration...
2020-04-11 09:34
vega 3 ?? is it good??

2020-04-17 00:35
