But in all honesty, you're just stating the obvious. Anywhere in the world, people are the reason the virus is spreading. How could it spread otherwise? The biggest problem is here and you got it all: "Both sides of the politicians were telling people it was no big deal, that it won't effect us very much.". The man in charge didn't care until lately and now his country is fucked, he's accusing everyone (the Chinese government, the Obama administration, the fake news, the Do Nothing Democrats, now the W.H.O. and soon the nazis, the little green men and God Himself) and whining and lying in public nobody told him anything about the virus dangerousness. He's been the best at denying the coronavirus crisis until now and jeopardized your whole nation because he was just blinded by the November's election and its potential impact on the stock market.
You remember this one? Trump said on January 30: “We have it very well under control. We have very little problem in this country at this moment — five. And those people are all recuperating successfully.” The same day, the World Health Organization declared coronavirus to be a “public-health emergency of international concern when it was "only" 7,818 confirmed cases around the world.
Or those ones? On Feb. 26, he said: “We’re going down, not up. We’re going very substantially down, not up.” On Feb. 27, he predicted: “It’s going to disappear. One day, it’s like a miracle, it will disappear.” On Feb. 29, he said a vaccine would be available “very quickly” and “very rapidly” and praised his administration’s actions as “the most aggressive taken by any country.” None of these claims were true. By the end of February, there were 85,403 confirmed cases, in 55 countries around the world.
Or that one, when he was as good as HLTV baiters? When Trump tweeted on March 9 “So last year 37,000 Americans died from the common Flu. It averages between 27,000 and 70,000 per year. Nothing is shut down, life & the economy go on. At this moment there are 546 confirmed cases of CoronaVirus, with 22 deaths. Think about that!” and then said on Fox News on March 24 "But we've never closed down the country for the flu, so you say to yourself, 'What is this all about?'" and “I’d love to have the country opened up and just raring to go by Easter.” On the same day there were 53,740 confirmed cases in the USA.
The only good move he made was to prevent foreigners who had recently visited China from entering the United States simply because it fitted his personal political agenda.
But don't worry, “It’s going to disappear. One day, it’s like a miracle, it will disappear.”
