hes not selling it, it was his friend, he buy for him, then his friend give them back.
2020-04-10 10:12
This is where consumer laws get sticky regarding digital marketplaces. If I buy four copies of CS:GO, have them on four different accounts and allow a friend sometimes to play on one of them.. should I be liable for everything that they do? In the old days you used to be able to give a hard copy of a game to your friend and they would play on it.. there'd be no problem. If this was in the United States.. Valve would have no problem in the court, but since we are in Europe where courts are not afraid of big money U.S. companies they can do anything including telling Valve that customers are allowed to re-sell their games.
2020-04-10 10:59
true, but u know lawyer and those 1% will try to find loopholes.
2020-04-10 13:32

“he didn’t violate it” i said “he violated it” that is not your point

2020-04-10 10:18
it's not cs/ow at all. it's much closer to crossfire in many ways it's just that general public don't know fpses further than cs, so they compare it to it, but it's nothing like it at all, except buying weapons at the start of the round LOL
2020-04-10 12:58
All the youtubers, + CS pros and ex CS pros said that it plays almost identical to CS, except for the abilities. So...
2020-04-11 05:58
Because they don’t know further in fps that Cs. How can it play like cs if there is no counter strafing and it plays slower? How

Yes, we totally want to hear educated HLTV interpretation of the law, it's almost like this forum lost all the 9-year-olds and are now filled with lawyers.

OG doing well and now he crying he cant join them :(
2020-04-10 10:16
If a clause is deemed "unjustifiable" it can be disregarded in accordance with finnish law. Considering he was a minor when he was banned and subsequently suffered permanent consequenses it isn't that far a cry for him to win.
2020-04-10 10:28
+1 Exactly. You got it right. Plus there's a consumer/customer rights case impending here. If Jamppi is to be believed, then he allowed a friend to play on his account. Digital marketplace laws are very sticky (outdated) and some European countries like France have told Valve that frenchies should be allowed to re-sell their Steam games for example. There's already a thriving market of used Steam accounts being sold regardless of what Valve states in their EULA, which would lead me to say that the EULA is actually shit and serves no other purpose than to inconvenience the customer.

Once a cheater always a cheater u should be raised to breath for success try to be the best player u can not get help from cheats
2020-04-10 10:37
He should go to jail for naming himself Jamppi in the first place.
2020-04-10 10:42
You don't always have law on your side. Sometimes you have to bend the shit out of it to convert it into a win.
2020-04-10 10:46
Why people are so fucking stupid? Dont you understand that jamppi is trying to contact valve and this is his last chance to save his pro career. Going to court is last option. And what can he lose? Money? He is living in finland and money is just fuccking money, who cars. Jamppi did NOT cheat, he made mistake. And he was fucking 14yo when he made mistake. Jamppi is fucking potential top10 player, propably best finnish player rn and he can just become even better. Please look outside of the box u fuccking little 95iq morons ty

People seeking for justice to their lack of game skills. Easier to blame others rather than improving their own gameplay. And starting hate threads just like this one because of their self-rightneousness.
2020-04-10 11:05
Thats some 80iq stuff
2020-04-10 11:10
Clearly you didn't read the whole story because it's not even his idea and the last thing they wanted was having to take it to court.
2020-04-10 11:00
Imo worth a try
2020-04-10 11:13
Already a billion threads about this. I just want to see what happens, I dont even care about the outcome anymore.

You cannot punish a child for the rest of his/her life, that goes against all natural justice. Jamppi & his Legal team will win this, easily. Valve are making a mistake, the judges will rule against them.

jampi and his team will win shit ...a ton load of shit ...and newell is laughing so hard now
