New car suggestions?
Finland Fakepot_95xD
Heyyy guys so my audi A5 2011 started leaking oil a little while ago and now i have to repair its a 6k repair feelsbad but i was thinking about trading it afterwards. Currently between a BMW 535 and Mercedes CLA which one would you go for? Or some other bmw or mercedes? Or maybe audi A7? any thoughts? Please dont suggest some other car cuz i really dont give two shits just stfu
2020-05-06 15:38
Topics are hidden when running Sport mode.
Mercedes CLA cause it's a very prestigious car
2020-05-06 15:39
Looks real nice for the price huh , i guess it doesnt really have power but who cares really. My friend says its bad cuz its front wheel drive but i dont care
2020-05-06 15:40
fwd is better for real (and safer, esp in slippery Finland), people who want rwd are, no offence, mostly immature people. and the power it has is enough for day to day usage.
2020-05-06 15:44
Thx for the advice
2020-05-06 15:48
worst mercedes ever
2020-05-06 15:44
Cuz front wheel?
2020-05-06 15:45
no? but looking at ur flag ud prefer a g wagon or a w124 / some other old model...
2020-05-06 15:46
CLA looking sick, but u know that mercedes is comfort car with nice engine. CLA got 150hp engine and no comfort at all. But still its not a worst car to buy
2020-05-06 15:52
just but they would be out of his price range. CLA was the most comfortable car I have driven, it's relative.
2020-05-06 16:00
try to drive another merc, u gonna be happy af :D
2020-05-06 16:02
the new cla (sedan) is looking good but its playing in the A class. compact car like vw golf.

Why respect him when he's clearly a douchebag? Of he doesn't want to hear other opinions then he shouldn't make a thread asking

Something like this would look sick Just slightly too much driven
2020-05-06 15:46
looks really awesome, but why the hell so expensive with that km? are cars in finland expensive?
2020-05-06 16:09
idk men give budget and i tell u
2020-05-06 15:41
6k cash + my current car (prob approx 15k) and then i could get small loan for rest but max 5k cuz yeah. So try 25k euro budget
2020-05-06 15:42
cruiser, fast sportscar, sleeper, limousine?
2020-05-06 15:52
Doesnt need to be Extremely fast. Has to be coupe or sedan/hatchback tho. I dont like wagons. Sporty look is always nice but as long as its not ultra slow its fine :) CLA Mercedes have like 184 hp which would be fine :) the bmw would obvs have alot more but imo the CLA looks cooler for the price. Im kinda stuck between those two but another Mercedes or bmw would be cool too, or Audi aswell love their looks. Just had a bad experience with the last one
2020-05-06 15:59
if u wanna go wild, e46 m3. or maybe an e92 335i biturbo, basically the german 2JZ (toyota supra) also amazing car to drive. naturally aspirated engines with turbo are the best. not a big fan of the newer bmws, nowadays its all about downsizing and economy, older bmws have this raw sound, tuning potential, QUALITY.
2020-05-06 16:14
also e46 m3 will go up in price if it's being carefully looked after
2020-05-06 16:53
100%, e36 m3, even a 328i have big demand already its crazy
2020-05-06 16:55
yes, I own a black e36 328i coupe, all black leather interior, m pack, bbs, manual and after 2018 winter I decided not to drive it during winters (they use salt for snow in Latvia. salt = rust) because the price for them was going up fast. I bought it for 3,6k from Now in Latvia it costs approx. 6k, just because I keep it in good condition.
2020-05-06 17:04
thats awesome, black coupe with bbs is the best combo for sure i have a black e46 coupe with 18' alpina, only the 320ci (170hp) tho but still fun for cruising with it :)
2020-05-06 17:07
yeah, 170hp for a 3series is enough imo. But I've thought about chipping mine. I haven't done it yet, coz I don't want to kill the engine. But having 200+ hp for a non-turbo 328i (stock 190) sounds dope :D.
2020-05-06 17:16
afaik theres no gain in chipping naturally aspirated engines? only a super/turbocharger would work? but yeah its like u say, gonna kill the engine. boost is an addiction (a friend of mine has a e60 530d stage2, and its a beast, so much torque) but i would definitely keep ur car stock
2020-05-06 17:20
I've talked to people who have chipped a 328i and usually they gain up to 20hp. Although they had to swap their engines after 2-3 years haha :D. But yea, an e60 530d stopped next to me at a stoplight and that thing straight up smoked me. After an hour we accidentally met up at a Mcdonalds and he told me it was stage 2.

e46 is nice and all but I would not get it as a car if I had to drive daily. It is old and the comfort just isnt there. Joy to ride? Most likely. Daily driver? Get a modern car.
2020-05-06 16:56
i drive an e46 coupe facelift and the comfort is definitely there. only had to switch to an android touchscreen radio but thats not a big deal honestly. also my mum drives an e61 523i 2010 so i can tell the difference
2020-05-06 17:04
something to add, u will generally have more problems with newer cars, i know it sounds weird, but all those small 4 cylinder engines with a big turbo in it, its simply not long lasting. also open the engine hood, everything is covered, so much electronic stuff, u cant do shit yourself except oil change :). these are just opinions from a hobby tuner that loves the driving experience and the possiblity to maintain most stuff yourself. a bmw 6 cylinder is something you will never regret. if ur a casual driver tho any of these brands are good to go, mercedes has the best comfort/interior, audi is a good allrounder ( newer cars also have a sick design), and bmw the best driving experience, honestly just choose what u fell in love with
2020-05-06 16:38
Go for the CLA or any other mercedes, great cars,
2020-05-06 15:43
Cla looks the best for The price imo, Mercedes cool but good looking ones imo get too expensive. Except for CLA :)

CLA looks like CLS-wannabe. I like Mercs, but I'd go for a BMW in this one.
2020-05-06 15:50
Go buy a mercedes g63 amg edition one
2020-05-06 15:54
cla is a good looking car but the backseats are shit, i would rather get the bmw if you take more than 1 person with u

go for bmw, they have incredible engines overall, bmw has probably the best engines in europe at least m47 not n47 engines

Dont german cars hold up badly in finland? Quite bad here
2020-05-06 16:17
2020-05-06 16:39
They have many problems after 3-5 years.
2020-05-06 16:40
Agreed. Nowadays trend is downsizing engines but keep high HP. absolutely fucked imo. #42 #44
2020-05-06 16:43
Small engine + turbo sucks for overtaking. Gear down and wait for it to spool up takes forever. I prefer how electric cars drive now.
2020-05-06 16:45
im not really convinced by electric cars yet, but they sure are fast af
2020-05-06 16:57
Depends on where you live. In Denmark there are fast chargers everywhere. So it’s no problem. But I never use them because my car will do +400km on highways.
