there are many options, for example you can bet winner of whole match, winner of first/second map, you can bet, you can bet exact result, and there are many other options
betting on rounds is pretty profitable. Usually odds for over 24.5 rounds in a map is about 1.4 to 1.6. Just look at the map history for teams and see how many times there have been over those rounds in those maps. I've won about 80/100 bets just on betting over 24.5 rounds.
Do you have to bet with real money or can you just make predictions.
Ok, so I would recommend you to check out the map picks before the game starts and then you can compare their wr in % on this map. their h2h matches and recent form.. sometimes games went wrong, but that''s the risk. normally teams having their bad maps and fav maps.
I betted 1000 on NIP ovp today.. bc NIP are really good on this map.. faze is bad on ovp.. and formwise both are on same lvl. easy +900€ on 2.0 odd (-taxes)
then I bet 600€ on FaZe Mirage after they lost the pistol on 1.9 odds.. again easy money. Faze had a 90% winrate on this map and I was sure faze will not lose 2-0 to nip.. well was close
I predicted Train wrong and put 100€ on nip bc it was kinda 50:50 map and I felt like nip was doing better today.. they lost bc couldnt win last round.. rip money
I putted 600 on G2 +2,5 round handicap on vertigo, bc they play this map really sick.. well they lost 13-16.. 1 more round could have bring me 1000€.. they were leading 12-8 -> 13-16...
later I putted 1500€in Astralis -2.5 (-2.5 rounds handicap) win OVP for 1.8 odds.. easy money again..
Soooo before u put money in something check the facts and don't be emotional at all! don't cash out too fast.. I hope this examples can help you..
Dont always bet on favorites and check out the stats before games. And if you do combos.. don't put more than 3 games in..
If you bet on Best of 1 matches.. wait for the map veto first.. most important!!! even on BO3 always wait for vetos.. if you prebet, then try to predict the vetos and compare
Do you have to just guess the winner or the score too? - Depends on you, usually if you are guessing scores it's more risky, but if you will guess right - you will win more, because odds are usually higher on this options.
What if the map goes to overtime? Do you need to predict the overtime at the time of bet or you can do it while the game is live? - Nothing, overtime is a part of the game, you don't have to predict the overtime, but if you want to - you can do that before the game or in live bets.
What does odds means? Is it just the normal odds of some team winning the game or it is something else in bets? - Odds are meaning on how much you will win. Higher odds means more amount of winnings and it's a higher risk as well... but it's not always works like this, you may winning with higher odds as well because bookmakers are setting the odds and they are the same people who may be wrong and understimate some of the outcomes. That's why people are disagree with that and trying to go for higher odds basically.
For example - if the bookmakers are setting lower odds on Team A, Team A will be the favourites. If the bookmakers are setting higher odds on Team B, Team B will be the underdogs.
And it's only their opinions, you may disagree with them, depends on you.
It works really easy. You bet, you lose money.
I think the most important thing is to be disciplined. In every way, if you act like its your job and you enjoy your job, you are unlikely to lose. High dopamine release means better cognitive performance. Boosting your neural networks by eating well, SLEEP and exercise is thus vital. Watch learn and REMEMBER there is always another opportunity. Don't be emotional, when you lose, that's how the cookie crumbles, when you win, that's how the cookie crumbles. You aren't a god, or hyper intelligent. You are disciplined like Ronaldo. A FEW percent of us are Messi and just get shit right. Im not one,. Maybe @snicxx is, we are both of German heritage ;) although I'm Aussie.
