Eu igl to an Na team

In thoorins video talking about astralis at 1420 he was talking about selling eu talent specifically glaive and device to a quote “ to an Na team with a lot of money hint hint hint” I don’t think you have to dive to deep to see who he is talking about what Na team has a lot of money and is struggling? Liquid obviously the question is who is he talking about discuss

No way Liquid has the money to buy out device and gla1ve, and no way Astralis would sell them off. The EU IGL Liquid could realistically get is ALEX.

I don’t think they are going to get them he said eu talent and Alex has an interview with thoorin and thoorin really seemed to want to push the narrative that Alex was willing to go to Na and then 2 days later he says that i think liquid might be in talks with vitality rn

Oh I thought he talked about device and gla1ve specifically being sold off, not that they were just used as an example to get the discussion going. Yeah it's obviously possible to get an eu IGL to NA and igl Liquid, that team has some unreal untapped potential. Even though I don't think it would be a good move, Lekr0 is available along with ALEX.

That team definitely has potential the summer run was there potential when they were unstoppable and the clear cut number 1 the question is how can they get back to that and getting rid of nitro for an igl who do a lot with worse players overall and has a history of beating astralis seems to make to much sense to me

Why the fuck do people fuss about Lekr0? The dude is like the worst player in NiP.

I didn't mean only you, a lot of people have been talking about Lekr0 potentially moving to Liquid or NA or even FaZe. And I don't see a world where a team of Liquid caliber would want to pick Lekr0.

It's just throwing shit at the wall and seeing if it sticks, T1 teams are pretty set because of corona, nobody wants to make a risky move right now.
2020-05-22 22:25
liquid has a boatload of money, you underestimate just how large their esports organization is

Yeah they can pretty much buy any player they want to

If they would, they would very fast hit the point of diminishing returns for their investment, or straight-up big losses. That's not a successful way of running a business. They would have to find the perfect price where the team they want to poach the player from would agree monetarily and the point where the player wouldn't be hugely overpaid. That price is hard to find. Trades would be the most logical way to get the desired effect eg. if they got blameF from coL and send back nitr0, I could see it work.

Col is not budging on there team that’s straight up a downgrade in terms of salary for blamef col pays some of the highest salaries in the scene
2020-05-22 22:23
1 reply
blameF's contract would be transferred to Liquid if they would trade nitr0 for him. Players do not see a pay raise or pay cut if they're traded, their current contracts stay valid. Trades obviously need 2 accepting parties but as I have already said, teams are very set rn because no one wants to make extra risks because of corona.

My argument was more about that Astralis wouldn't sell off device and gla1ve as they have been instrumental to their success, but that's beside the point as they're clear locks in Astralis. Now if we talk about the talent who is benched or just up for grabs, Lekr0 and ALEX are the ones that come to mind.

yea they wouldn't sell anyone on their team. it would mean certain death for the team. i would guess astralis isn't worth nearly as much as liquid as an org because astralis only really has a presence in csgo, so removing their players would mean a dramatic loss in revenue. liquid could sell their team and leave pro cs and stay thriving as they have. that said, alex is a good choice. so is floppy if stew stays igl.

weren't astralis's financials supposed to be shit? hmmmm a company in a bad financial situation signing on two more salaries, in a roster situation that really hasn't been seen before. makes you think.

if astralis can't match the salary liquid wants to give them, yes they could just give up the two best players. it happens all the time in sports

Not join liquid but they might go to another team astralis are in a lot of trouble financially that was concluded way before they added JUGi and esetag and those players are not astralis caliber so what’s you explanation for them singing 2 budget players when they already took a salary cut for there companies workers. No ones pulling shit out of there ass except you look at the facts

Why would they sign those shit players unless they were trying to save money those players were free agents but they are shit players and this is the biggest org in Denmark why don’t they buyout madlions players or cph flames players because they are trying to save money by not paying a buyout

if they can't pay gla1ve and device what they want, why would they go spending money on the rest of denmark's CS talent? Also consider: Device and glaive probably don't care THAT much about money where they'd leave everything they've built and join some NA FaZe-like project that everyone knows would fail. I don't think there;s any amount of money worth leaving astralis for some shitters like that.

Could not be there choice if the group is offered a lot of money to sell off the players to a huge org

I don't think any org will pay their enormous value to the organization. Even past their winnings, think about how huge Astralis is. These guys sell tons of jerseys and merch and keep the interest in Astralis high enough there's even shit like Astralis branded soda cans in Denmark. Again, if Astralis wanted to pay less on contracts they would never have gotten Jugi and es3tag.
2020-05-22 22:37

Maybe not pay less on contracts but think about who they got 2 players who took nothing to sign because they aren’t contracted by an org it doesn’t make sense for them to get those 2 players when if they weren’t trying to save money they would go for a farlig refrezh bubski roej players who if you put them under astralis’s wing those players would be banging there’s no reason to get Hugo and esetag unless they were trying to save money

that's a larger investment than it's worth for players who are not permanent replacements. These guys will just sit on the bench whenever all the main players are good to go, don't need to pay millions to benchwarmers.
2020-05-22 23:02
Yeah astralis doesn’t have the financial sense to keep up the team atm

well they will have to spend some money soon because I dont believe c9 is gonna be a top 20 team in the future with this lineup

Plus I don’t think anyone except maybe floppy wants to leave that team and that’s only because floppy can be one of the best Na players on a tl or eg or even gen g

I dont think the players will have a choice if C9 wants to buy device/gla1ve.
