There are other criteria for a monitor than solely refresh rate. Plenty quality monitors out there for +$300 that have "only" a 144hz refresh rate.
2020-05-23 09:27
well you might be right.. I only play csgo so wouldn't really notice better quality if its the same hz..
2020-05-23 09:32
Yeah. I have a 144 Hz without an adjustable stand because the one with the stand would've been 150€ more. There's plenty of other factors, even "external" (like the stand) which determine the price rather than just refresh rate.

I currently have one shitty samsung monitor so anything would be an upgrade atm, im thinking of AOC C217G1 27" worth 280$

"Absent a strobe effect, the eye can see changes (flicker) in the 60 to 75 hertz range." quora.com/Is-240-Hz-visible-to-the-human..
2020-05-23 21:50
"It is possible to strobe a light at 240 Hz and if you look at a fast moving object" literally from the same thing you linked you fucking retard

i bought a new 144hz 1ms benq yesterday for $200 brand new. its this model "BenQ Zowie XL2411P 24" Full HD 144Hz DVI HDMI DP LED Monitor" not sure if they will have it around your area or not but doesnt hurt to check
2020-05-23 10:14
I was thinking of getting benq monitor, but most of them are so fckn overpriced in Norway, i might get a decent AOC or MSI monitor for around 250$

buy the KD25F from Gigabyte bro it's 240hz and now reduced in price great monitor 0.5 ms
2020-05-23 12:19
amazon.com/Acer-VG240Y-Pbiip-FREESYNC-Te.. 300$ very very nice monitor no ghosting, good colors no backlight bleed no dead pixels good quality cons: the stand is only tilt (only limited vertical adjustment) typical IPS glow and btw i won't recommend buying 27 inch for games I still feel that i want to switch for 3:4 blackbars just because i will be focusing on the center and the 24 inchs are more than ideal but i just got used to the stretched so
2020-05-23 12:23
Asus VG248QE, 1ms, 144hz for just around 200 euros. Doesnt get much better than that

if you pay 300 EUR then you get WQHD TN 144hz panel freesync/gysnc when ur lucky. if you pay 400 EUR you want to have an IPS panel I can recommend this one f.e amazon.de/DELL-S2719DGF-Monitor-DisplayP.. or the HP X27i with IPS (quite new on the market) panel and same specs!

I have AOC 24G2U/BK it was around 150$ its a good budget monitor and i dont see why you would spend 300$ on a monitor. You can adjust the stand and screen and it has all the display settings you need and you might want to use.
2020-05-23 12:57
XL2411Z Viewsonic VX2458-mhd Those are my 2 top picks.
2020-05-23 13:01
XL2411P you mean, Z version is not manufactured anymore. I sold Z one because the old Z version supported 144Hz only through Dual link Dvi-D cable which my new GPU didnt even have lmao
2020-05-23 13:07
do you prefer good colors and panel? or it doesnt really matter to you, and you just wanna get 144hz? in that case you could even get a nice 240hz in that price range
