I didn't even know who he was but that's sad, imagine being 32 yrs old and still wasting time trying to go pro
2020-05-23 22:34
trying to go pro? iam sure he is still playing fulltime
2020-05-23 22:42
damn even more sad, I bet he makes like 1000 euros a month
2020-05-23 22:43
well hes living in switzerland so i guess he earns enough
2020-05-23 22:44
I thought the cost of living there is quite high
2020-05-23 22:44
quite high? its really high down there lol
2020-05-23 22:46
the gdp per capita is pretty highso that makes sense
2020-05-23 22:57
yeah but hes playing for a swiss organisation + hes some kind of a manager over there too so i guess hes fine with the salary
2020-05-23 22:59
no wonder why he's still on the team lol
2020-05-23 23:00
Yeah, it's unfortunate but he's not really gonna get anywhere in terms of playing at a high level. Then again he doesn't need to if he earns 5-10k a month doing whatever he does.
2020-05-23 23:22
If low tier teams were making 10k a month, I would be very surprised
2020-05-23 23:22
Yeah but 5k/month is the kind of money one would probably need to comfortably live in Switzerland (comfortable meaning middle-class being able to afford entertainment at will). It's hard to gauge exactly, but I know hardly anyone who works and lives full time here and makes less than 5k, and I'm middleclass too. Besides, if what #33 stated is correct and he really is some kind of manager then it wouldn't be as surprising.

Karrigan? Think about it - he had access to the Astralis core, NiKo, Olof and GuardiaN while they were still reasonably good, and now ropz. What the fuck has he achieved with all that talent? Nothing worth even mentioning.
2020-05-23 22:20
He won everything but majors though?

In order of importance: 1. Having an era 2. Winning a major 3. Winning the Intel Grandslam 4. Winning Cologne (when not a major) 5. Winning Katowice (when not a major) To not achieve any of this with the players he's had is a fucking embarrassment. His career is a catastrophe.
2020-05-23 22:32
Oh yeah, when you go to his profile it's all filled up with trophies, what a catastrophe. He has taken three different teams to championship levels with his IGLing, such an embarassment LMAO. Also, your list of importance is pure shit. Where's the entry for winning loads of tier 1 tournaments and price money? Oh yeah, tarik & Skadoodle won that one major by fluke, that must mean they'rebetter player sthan karrigan... yeah, no way. Winning the major means fuck all these days, the level of play is hardly better than at some of the other tier 1 tourneys. You can only artificially jack up the prestige of an event so much and they're prone to being fluked even more than other events. The intel grandslam has no real importance either, that's literally just a bonus, a cherry on top as it were, but it holds hardly any significance for one's career. And where the fuck is longevity in your list? You can't seriously consider short term achievements to be important and just ignore one's consistency in winning and placing highly over the years. It seems like you have no idea of the concept of teamplay either. You make it sound like winning was an easy task with all these international players, but you forget that he was a) a pioneer in that regard and b) had some of the most overly with egos stacked lineups one could have where everyone was used to being the star player. But yeah, so easy to make it work LOOL except for it doesn't when he's not the one leading the team. Besides, you seem to forget that he keeps getting picked up. But surely you must know better than all the prestigious orgs he has played for who picked him up time and time again, and I bet they regret how far he has taken them time and time again. Also, I don't see a single expert saying that he's a shit IGL. You're just some jealous clown who proclaims one of the greatest IGLs of all time to be shit and your only argument is that he didn't win the trophies you consider to be important. Laughable. If you had just stated that he's an underachiever I could've understood that, but clearly you do not pay any attention to what he brings to each and every team he plays on. Don't even bother replying honestly, his understanding of the game is wasted on a deluded, self-indulgent moron like you.

That's just one of my many faces. I'm Wiktor "TooManyToCountFaced" Toledo. Remember the name.
2020-05-23 23:53
and how many majors did niko olof and guardian win after he got kicked? right none... faze was way better with him as an igl
2020-05-23 22:24
+1 he made mousesports a top2 team from nothing

If you actually read interviews, it was his fault that Mousesports struggled for so long. He was playing ropz and frozen out of position. They basically had to overrule him to fix the problem. The SG meta also helped.

NiKo being a bad leader and Olof/GuardiaN dropping off doesn't prove that Karrigan was a good IGL for FaZe.

It's obvious hes not ready for tier 1-2 matches, just look at his match history from past 2-3 years.. 95% of his matches are against tier 5 teams. He has played against Furia like 25 maps and went 0.5 kd like +20 of those maps

Fallen is trying to implement strategy, but new players cant just jump into positions and instantly play good in your system. You need to give him some freedom at first 100% This will keep happening and the system will keep cracking after a short time until he realizes this. It’s amazing how many times a player focused on trying to adjust to the system so much that he lacked any impact late into the round. Like trk and meyern definitely aren't the first
2020-05-23 23:32
couldn't agree more with you. FalleN is the real problem, he's outdated as IGL and he can't focus on be the best AWP.
