"He doesnt know english"
United Kingdom liltrapster
how does this stop people from joining english speaking teams? It's not hard to communicate in english when playing csgo. It's literally just words like "mid split", "I molly heaven" or "I flank from ct", aswell as the call outs. It's really simple to learn and im sure that even more fpl players are already used to this. At most it will take a few days to learn

Topics are hidden when running Sport mode.
Well for slavs it is They only have a slight slight connection to English from French Like débile = debil in russian only a few words so English is hard for them Whereas latin and germanics have it easy cause english is a mix of both

It is hard for slavs but i personally dont feel any difference in calling Polish,English i tried call Russian indeed hard once i remember me trying to say smth in German we all laughed xDDD it was so bad but it worked for a time period. Therefore Language barrier isn't a problem, what is a problem is when the mid-round calls start when u dont have fluent english this can certainly end up lossing the round.

2020-05-25 12:43

I think he didnt bother learning it since he played in French teams and didnt really beed it, now that he is actually learning it he is quickly getting better.

Because in France, unlike in Sweden people actually speak their first language
2020-05-25 15:48
also in france our educationnal system is shit and it can often demotivates some to learn english, I could easily see Jackz as one of these people
2020-05-25 15:52
they will be slower in comms saying and understanding when it counts the most especially with igls calling during the game.
2020-05-25 12:43
just look at mouz xdddd
2020-05-25 12:44
tbh FaZe is a cluster-fuck probably in terms of communication so disregarding price and negotiations, etc. idk
2020-05-25 12:44
Niko, Cold, Rain and well... Olof before all have the ability to speak english very good. Idk about Broky but I think his english is good as well
2020-05-25 13:02
news flash: most people for whom going pro in fps games is the best career option are not that bright so its hard for them to even learn their own language properly let alone a foreign language

What i said in #11 has to be taken into consideration i feel like info is huge factor but, u cant only win game on info if IGL micromanage u thats when things get messy if u dont know english also u can loss yourself in mid round calls.
2020-05-25 12:51
+1, they think pro level communication is the same with silvers' lmao yeah you just gotta learn how to count from 1 to 5 and the 3 callouts - mid, a, b.
2020-05-25 13:01
how does this stop people from joining russian speaking teams? It's not hard to communicate in russian when playing csgo. Everyone knows Russia is hard to learn probably a bit harder than German cuz of Cyrillic.

German isn’t that difficult to learn though, only the grammar is a pain in the ass but just having a everyday conversation is pretty easy
2020-05-25 13:04
you are from Netherland you speak drunken German so it no problem for you

Honestly German is 10x easier than Russian cuz there are few letters that are added while learning russian makes u learn cyrlic. letters like ß or Ü.ö and ä is all u need to learn to speak german. np österreich austria in german. Grammar is also a task but every language has it ;3

it's 62% not 90%. I will say that I personally dont care what languange anyone speaks and am up for learning more. However i will agree that this dude be ignorant as fuck thinking that in-game comms are the only thing that's needed in a Cs team.

these phrases are looks simple, but in reality people have different accents, not everyone are able to hear and clearly understand teammeates also describing a situation you are in it's pretty hard if it's not default one. And i'm not talking about things like discussing strategies e.t.c.
2020-05-25 13:02
Because it is not just these calls to do? Besides, there is way more out of game communication to do and if you literally cant talk, you cant be a proper team

You are not just playing games like in faceit. You are being the member of the family, you are playing, practice, relaxing, friend with each other. It is impossible to non speaker to be in full english team because you are not just playing 30 rounds with them you are living with them and you need to communicate
2020-05-25 14:30
+1 i find it harder listening to english than speaking english. also the ingame strats is much more complex than just execute a smoke or mid split. its just more complex

Try playing the whole day while speaking a different language. Find 4 French or 4 Russians and speak only in that language
2020-05-25 15:25
yea it would take like 4 - 8 hours for being able to communicate propperly I mean cmon man its not like u need to learn the whole language
2020-05-25 15:29
How do you communicate with ur teammate in 2vX situations or make a mid round calls if u are an IGL, its not that easy imo.
