ASTRALIS ARE EVIL

Astralis cut ALL of their workers pay, and say they are building a roster to "revolutionise" with 7 players. Nope, they cut people pay, but bring in 3 more people on wages. How do the people whos wages got cut feel? and they are not "revolutionising" cs with 7 man roster, it is lies to cover up that their players need to get out of bad working conditions

Bruh chill Im an Astralis fan aswell, but he's speaking about organization, not the team... and it's true that the org is so bad. Edit. Also, I won't be so surprised if Xyp9x and gla1ve don't come back. Unfortunately for them...

Let's hope so man. I'll be cheering for them to return to Astralis. If not, that'll be it for their careers. Getting burnt out is no fun, there's a chance they won't get back if new players are so amazing together. Their age is not much, but it's not like in football that some players are much over 35 and they're still playing. Pro CS is just... tiring and I will respect their choice if they don't come back. Enough hard work, career-long absolute domination (with breaks ofc) Edit. On the other hand I also hope after those 3 months of break, they'll miss CS very badly and they won't be looking for a regular job, but they will be looking to return to the scene

I mean what did you expect The esports bubble is basically a couple huge holdings controlling all the money and screwing over workers because they're capitalist cyka

Have you read the statement from Astalis Group? Paycut was for all employees across the whole company while Denmark was/is in lock down because of Covid-19/Corona. Source: astralisgroup.net/news/salary-agreement Yeah yeah flag and flair checks out...

The worst part isn't that they lie to everyone. It is that lots of people think this is the truth. "they just signed a 10m deal" But they lost 5m in 2019 and remmebr how much money they earned in price winnings that year. Their 2020 is gonna be horrible

True, but the buyout would over 5 mil and i don't think everyone wants to spend that much money.

Why would it be 5 mil? You only need to buy 3 players.

I was thinking all (glave, xyp, device magisk dupreeh) will want to leave to another org.
2020-05-29 18:31
I heard that they're purposely bleeding money so they don't have to pay as much taxes
2020-05-29 10:27
All prize money goes directly to players and coach - nothing for running the org - that comes from sponsors and attendance at tournaments

Ok haven't read the full financial report yet But thry bragged about their winnings, so thought the org took some of it

I read the entire IPO Prospectus when they went on Nasdaq First North Growth Note about their stock: Don't gamble, but my vacation budget got invested twice in ASTGRP - made enough money to buy a new laptop - and got out before Xyp announced his leave with a profit. Might go in again at some point - just not right now. Anyhow, wish the best for all the guys <3

"Nope, they cut people pay, but bring in 3 more people on wages. How do the people whos wages got cut feel?" Probably fine because they know what it's gonna happen unlike you? Taking a cut it's also pretty normal at this moment, most footballers did it, I don't see anyone running away from their "evil team" that demanded it

they are one of the shadiest, shittiest orgs in CS but their braindead fans will defend the org anyways so whatever
2020-05-29 12:10
They bring in new players so some of the other players can take a break. They work less and get less money Which is very normal
2020-05-29 12:13
Its just so stupid. The cut was not a cut like, we dont want to pay you. It was we will cut this so everyone can keep their job while things in the world is unsecure. Denmark have really played it well with the lock down, and because of how things work most have found a way to make things work. its not a bad thing, but a good thing. because they care. The org is not bad, and the players are a part of the org, and they love the org. They are burnt out because they did the impossible and ruled the world for 2 years, took cs to a new level, and then after that not really getting a break, and still hanging on, but dropping in their matches and taking hits for that, even though they despite having a struggle remained among the very best in the world.. These players work their behind of. Not just computer training, that might be halft. but traning other things, work out, brain thinking eye test and what not. They are lucky to be in a org and nation that care and gives them room to do this. most other teams would have removed them from the roster and moved on. But not Astralis. You got it all backwards.
2020-05-29 12:21
Thats true they are all co owners of the org
