Well, OLEDs are better at showing blacks than a QLED, there's no doubt about that. But for the things I do/watch on/with the tv, the blacks on a QLED are perfectly fine. I don't watch movies like The Dark Knight on a BluRay, also I am not that picky with 'perfect blacks.' And although the QLED is technically still an LCD, its colors are way better than regular LCDs from my experience.
I mainly went with the QLED because:
1) I have the habit of leaving my tv on for prolonged periods of time, in which case getting an OLED just seemed reckless.
2) I use the tv a fuckton during daytime/summer, and I was worried the OLED's brightness couldn't get high enough to cancel out the sunlight. (My TV is in front of a window.)
If those two weren't an issue, I would have probably gotten an OLED.
