I can definitely see why some of the pros would like matches that lasts less time, given the insane amount of game they play, but I see it as a problem with how insane the number of tournaments and travels they have to go through rather than simply the match length.
In fact, there's arguably a larger percentage of the community that wants bo5 finals than bo3, because they want to see a game of CS being about who is better in the fullest possible meaning, including all of the buyrounds and economical control.
Yeah, as mentioned, I just see it as a problem with the number of officials they have to play regularly than the games themselves. There isn't any other esport that's as insanely intense as the CS:GO professional scene, as far as I'm aware.. and it's all hard work. Especially for the tier2 scene that gets no invites or anything handed to them.
