Please answer the following questions: What makes you such a high-level player? What do you know about the game that regular players of level 8-9-10 don't know? What are you good at? Is this the level where the player must know all the grenades on all the maps? Are you a consistent Player? Do you play solo or with a party? What tips can you give to players of a lower level to improve their game? Maybe there are really Useful videos on YouTube?

I guess its either being insane or just being a good player with good communication, decent aim and good gamesense, just someone who plays a lot and likes to grind and improve....im not one though lmao

You’re wrong tho. 80%( Im actually not lying about this) barely knows how to teamplay nor communicate as a proper teammate. “High elo” which in my head isn’t 3k just pure play on aim.
2020-06-04 06:37
not true, im 3.2k and im a bot xd sometimes i cba to talk and i always run out thru smokes and edshot people coz every1 braindead if they arent 5 stacked. If i queue with people tho i play more "smart".
2020-06-04 16:54
So by that you mean that ZywOo is the best player of all time? I think you are right, hope s1mple will not get destroyed by ZywOo again.
2020-06-04 21:13
dont be deluded , they are no superhumans or whatsoever its mostly just about grind play 10 games a day and you will be there in less then a year , if you are already a decent player just like in everything you need to put hours and work , nothing else tho i doubt there are many people who reached it by solo q, coz alot of games might be a coinflip
2020-06-02 03:10
there are superhumans

2020-06-02 05:10
+1 consistent full stack and u will get there easier
2020-06-02 11:18
this is just not how it works. Just grinding pugs is not enough to get up there
2020-06-02 12:57
i mean you gotta practice aimbotz , retakes, dm , but other than that , it is about grind , and alot of hours
2020-06-04 06:20
true
2020-06-04 07:24
But it is. When i was playing a lot I got 2900k elo with barely knowing any nades besides ct+stairs on mirage. It’s literally just about sweet talking your team into not going ham on each other
2020-06-04 08:10
Third sentence of your post actually says it's not and I think that's one major factor, a lot of winnable games are lost because of bad starts and people just start crying about each other instead of focusing on a comeback.
2020-06-04 08:15
Yes. If u Can Calm ur team down in annoying situations every game is winnable
2020-06-04 08:18
good point
2020-06-04 20:49
it's barely impossible to reach 3k elo by soloQ. if u go into faceit, u start at lvl2 or lvl3, if u go soloQ, it's impossible to get to 3k elo, cuz most of the times, u find people who doesn't even know the game properly. and u can't carry 3 or 4 guys every game. i'm talking by myself, i have tried it, and found it impossible, you'll get stuck between lvl3 and 4...

I'm around 2.7k elo. It's really hard to give advice for someone you don't know/don't know where they're at. Also the way you think is an important factor to get the most out of you. If you're looking for really good information look these 2 youtube channels: youtube.com/user/downsideCSS/videos He is really good, watch his tips & guides and take notes of what you think is correct/important. youtube.com/user/mahowned Look out for videos of pros, who play your favourite positions. Also being in a striving team is really beneficial to improving together.
2020-06-02 03:11
Hey im a solo queuer in faceit 90% of the time, do I have a big disadvantage by doing so? Is it possible to play solo queue I'm 2000+ elo?
2020-06-02 03:38
No I don't think so. It really depends on your ability to adapt and your style of play I think. Faceit is balancing matches pretty good imo, you won't be severely disadvantaged in that way. I don't like soloQ at all, because it's basically a cointoss if you get friendly teammates. But this will be the same for basically everyone. I would recommend to find a style of CS that works for you and build up a circle of people you like to play with. Finding these people can be really hard in the German community :^)
2020-06-02 03:45
Big thanks. I'll check YouTube videos. I'm at 8lvl now, you can actually read my message here: hltv.org/forums/threads/2310355/im-1700e.. I also think that soloQ isn't very good, but I cannot find people who wanna play with me with my 1700elo. they usually don't trust me, which sometimes affects my game. I can't feel the freedom of action.
2020-06-02 04:03
PM me your Faceit, lets play :D
2020-06-02 10:46
Are you gonna play with me on your main account? Are you toxic? Because I hate when people being toxic after losing rounds.
2020-06-02 12:11
Sure, no I'm not toxic
2020-06-02 12:51
Add me....im a bit tilt sometimes, especially now in quarantine times, but mostly due to random teammates who complain about everything, as long as u call and dont throw every round well like u lmao
2020-06-02 12:46
What is your faceit level?
2020-06-02 13:20
Between 6 and 8 but recently i hit a slump so i dropped to 6

im around the same lvl , wonna grind together if you are a chill player ( no need to be good just not toxic )
2020-06-04 19:01
What if I don't know what position I play? I just get to MG ranks by outaiming people and knowing some flashes/smokes
2020-06-02 04:00
It's hard because this advice generally speaks to people who are more experienced. MM might be an OK way to play and improve some aspects, but MM also does not teach you much else. You should try and find your favourite position on your favourite maps (e.g. Banana/B Site Inferno or A long player on Dust II). You will start to learn what works best against what kind of opponents and learn how to counter their counters.
2020-06-02 10:45
just 5 man stack against solo quers all day... eez
2020-06-02 03:12
this
2020-06-02 03:15
no if play 5 stack on highlevel you 95% play vs fullteams aswell
2020-06-02 03:18
can confirm
2020-06-02 03:19
Doesnt really matter if you play as team. 99% faceit stacks are silvers
2020-06-02 12:59
I can't find good teammates to play with. Every time I look for someone, I check their last 20 matches with faceitstats.com and I see a lot of games with low KDA, something like 15: 21~, etc. In my last 40 or so matches, I've had a good KDA, so I'm more consistent player than a potential guy who wants to play in the lobby. It puts me off playing with him.
2020-06-02 04:15
Who cares about kd....maybe they play a style like rain, very aggressive on both sides and get traded...then ur stats suck but u had as much impact as the guy behind u whos going like 25-15..... Stats dont tell a whole lot imo....id rather play with ppl with low kd than with like 1.4kd + players.... Most of them believe they are the best and just blame u whenever ur not having a good game....those are stupid cunts id rather not play with....i prefer losing with 4 nice ppl who dont have good stats than winning with 2 toxic cunts who believe they are s1mple...
2020-06-02 12:49
half of my games are filled with someone who bombs out and gets 35+ kills and blames us yet he just uses us as bait all the time
2020-06-04 19:09
I'm 2750 elo I'm trash with 15 avg, I soloQ 95% of my matches Most ppl around this elo rekt me with aim so I learned how to use teammates and map position to my advantage, and nades. I avoid maps like Mirage and Dust 2 since everyone knows how to play those and nades aren't as good on there as on Inferno or Nuke or Vertigo. I try to save smokes and try to play alone on bombsites if possible so teammates can stack and then buy time with nades if needed, or solo hold with awps.

yo real donhaci?
2020-06-02 03:27
yes
2020-06-04 08:26
But isn't Solo Queuing a coinflip? I try to do the same as you do, Mirage D tier map, Dust 2 is pretty good to play if you're on a full stack - otherwise just avoid it But when I am playing alone on maps like Inferno, and I get banana control for example, my mates tend to just sit mid and peeking and dying and stuff like that I dont understand how people manage to get lvl 10 soloQuing.. vertigang stay winning
2020-06-02 03:40
Depends on what level you are and if it's free or premium faceit in Premium (most of my matches) I rarely get ppl like that, at like 2500 elo or higher they know all the basics and that once they fuck up they wont do it again and try different stuff and yeah it is a coinflip because sometimes you can get matched with 4 soloQ players on your team but play against two groups of premades (3 premades and 2 premades) which are hard to win against.

yeah if i play good i do that aswell or i lurk and clean up but if not i try to go first and let my team do that

you have to bait but not necessarily your whole team but the guy who goes out onto bombsites then trade him then just entry the rest of the site
2020-06-02 03:28
this is not true at all, you bait you lose the game ez so ez to play vs baiters u need go first kill 3 or 4 etc all rounds and u win ez
2020-06-02 03:35
nah if you hitting your shots its sometimes better to let your m8s do that so you can clean up as lurk/support first guy often runs in awp one waysmoke or other shit
2020-06-02 03:41

2020-06-02 04:21
i am always around 3k-2.7k elo its hard to give advices but for me its helps the go in the match with the mindset that i am the best player in that match nomatter how i performed befor or against who because that just gives me pressure to carry and also i am more confident in taking peeks
2020-06-02 03:31
Yeah man same thing. I really know that I'm better, my playstyle, the way I peek enemies, the way I feel the timings, the way I use grenades gives me the idea that I'm a better player than 95% of 8-9lvls.
2020-06-02 04:25
JUST RUSH B EVERY GAME. DOESN'T MATTER WHAT MAP. IF EVERYONE RUSHES B, YOU CAN RUSH B, IF YOU ALL RUSH B, YOU WILL WIN, DOES NOT MATTER. RUSHING A? PFFFT. GETTING DROPPED BODIES BY 1 AWPER? PFFFT. PICK UP THAT FUCKING P90, MAKE EVERYONE BUY A FLASH BANG OR TWO, AND RUSH B! ez 10k elo. *at least*((((

I'm 2k but pretty much 3k as I play solid vs 3k elo all the time... I'm duoQ. Usually hover around 0.8-0.9 average KR and around 70% winrate (More important than AVG KILLS) Only reason im not 3k elo is because I don't want to be and I get -35 or more every loss. I would like to say I know very little set smokes and molos.. but I'm good at improvising on the spot. All you need to do to be good is hold your site and play patient....

no i know some 2k elo players who have insame aim but they just stupid and taking peeks where they have an disadvantage or overpeeking in afterpant but if you smart with good aim you can reach 3k-4k

yeah that's kinda me , i don't wonna say i have good aim but a slightly better one for my lvl , for me whenever i fuck up once ill start trying hard to fix that shit situation therefore end up taking unfavorable fights
2020-06-04 19:06
From my point of view as 3300 elo player and also having a lot of 3k elo friends i can just say this GRIND GRIND GRIND People on 3k elo are not even that good, the thing with grenade is funny because people there sometimes dont even know how to smoke ct It just comes with a time, if you play like 10 games a day for 1year you will finally get it, everything you got to do is to dont tilt and just play and make like 5k matches with even 51% win ratio Whole secret wow
2020-06-02 05:04
i know all grenades i play solo or premade or some hubs depends i watch a lot of yt videos and pov of pro players i play a lot i m better then average 3 k elo for sure 3 k elo is not that hard just grind every bot can get 3 k elo
2020-06-02 05:14
I can aim and win most aim battles and bait well.
2020-06-02 05:29
most players are boosted shit, in mm and faceit. so many high elo fake players who dont even know nades, economy system and have 0 gamesense. If you have a great team with 100% communication you will clap every trash who can just aim
2020-06-02 05:31
NA
2020-06-02 10:57
It's not that hard to grind to 3000 elo if you have the motivation and if you play with premades. Most 3000 elo players don't know any good smokes or useful nades and play only aim so you can easily beat them if you play decent with people you know. If you can't play with premades, the only piece of advice i got for you is to mute everyone in your team once it starts becoming salty. The only way to focus on your game in this hell that is solo-q.
2020-06-02 10:57
I'm around 3k and I think it depends a lot. Some players will just out aim everyone, some will participate by throwing good utility, some are baiting, some are clutch players. I think once you've found your role you'll participate a lot more in the rounds and win a lot more. Personaly I like to switch between defensive play and having my team's back securing rounds (cause a lot of players dont think as a whole and you've to be there) and agressive AWP to surprise in some important rounds cause i'm good with the gun. Also teams have patterns in these pugs. For example if I pick mid on inf and see no one and they hear no one in banana, 99% of the time it's going to be an execute apps with a flash so I can be ready or tell my team. If I see a flash mid, hear gun shots at banana and hear no one 2nd mid, they are most probably going to execute B so I just smoke mid (cause no one will cross it) and go B with my 2 teammates to pick with my AWP slowly. It's all about recognising patterns and be there when shit happens and ofc frag. If i'm in the zone and read them well I'll win the match no matter who my teammates are.

Pretty muchtl this. But remember this is soloq games, if ur with against a pre-made expect lifeless lurkers trying to delay rotations and fake executes to bait rotation
2020-06-02 12:43
so basically you have garbage aim.
2020-06-04 17:02
gamesense = garbage aim, ok loser Also casual 3k elo with only 2k hours in this game, don't rage ;)
2020-06-04 17:08
several conditions for ez 2500+: 1. no pussy 2. gamesens 3. no tilt 4. good aim. 5. without the first condition, the rest are useless

Gamesense and shooting confident. And when I say Gamesense is not about "probably rush b.. " but about what are the enemy doing at that moment and take advantage of it and take valuable information. Try to not let ur mates die without revenge, most of times in soloq is hard to revenge I know, but if he goes first and does some damage before dieing, it's worth, unless he's going solo A ramp rushing to jungle like a moron not checking anything
2020-06-02 12:40
I have just played much and i've always been pretty decent at games. You dont need to know all nades or anything, just some basic simple smokes and flashes and you will be good to go. If you wanna be better watch pro cs matches and start training in various aim maps, and ofcourse play more. Then you will get better no matter what
2020-06-02 12:53
Literally 8 lvls and 2500 almost have no difference. Even some 3k elo players are bad and just got elo with stack. Even they can lack of aim or gamesense. 3500 and over is already that good that they never lack of aim or gamesense
2020-06-02 12:55
faceit's problem is just a shit matchmaking. i started 2 months ago in lvl 2 and now im lvl 7. the thing is literally every game i have players who move like bots and are worse than players i see in lvl 3.
2020-06-04 17:00
You can literally get 3k elo with decent aim or experience if u have stack and just push as 5 everyround not kidding :D
2020-06-02 12:57
i've been around 3k elo 2 years ago when it actually was a thing. You surely dont need to know nades, but instead, you need that feeling which makes you know what is actually going on. You are able to judge every move on the map and analyze it. If you lose, you know why, if you win, you know why, If you got killed, you know why and you instantly know what to do about it. Its pretty much all about gamesense + consistent aim.

My max elo was 3.1k 2 years ago (i stopped playing regulary) now im around 2.9 cuz I play sometimes with my noob mates to have fun and we troll each other a lot. I've noticed that between me and some 2k elo players is usualy only one difference. They can shoot well and pretty often have good movement, but they don't know that much what is happening on the map. Usualy are worse with map control, they hestitate when should push, or push when they should hold. And tbh 3k players or even 4k+ players are not always thay good, they just know how to play faceit ladder, but when you play esea advanced, you can see how much they lack.

you talk like 3k elo players are gods. most of them are just 5 stack nerds who tryhard like they scrimming. just few of these 3k elo players have actual talent and are insane.
2020-06-04 16:54
you seem salty. what's wrong with a 5 stack playing to win? if you lose you call people tryhards, if you win you call the enemy noob. I know players like you ;-)
2020-06-04 17:09
playing to win what?
2020-06-04 17:09
the game?
2020-06-04 18:56
they win the game and get worthless elo. instead they could try to get fplc, but well i guess they know they are too bad for that and keep 5 stacking to get useless elo and flex.
2020-06-04 19:02
i have spent my last 2 years failing in fplc quali and playing solo premium my highest elo was 3.4k lowest around 2.8k can say fplc is very luck based, imo you are better off finding good players and playing qualifiers and cups
2020-06-04 19:08
comparing 3k elo to level8 is the same to compare level 8 to level 1. Just a lot better all around
2020-06-04 17:09

lmao half of the players with that elo are the ones who were playing with lvl 2 and 3 friends and wins games against lvls 5/6.
2020-06-04 17:25
right peek advantage combined with long angle advantage =80% kill, try to focus on that , peek when the wall is at your right site, and try not to peek so often when it is left side dont play to shy as ct , have everytime a plan what to do when u get action with your nades as ct . learn moves that work for u , try to warm up , never go tilt, be friendly annd motivate your team always, jeah and dont play trash cs, be ready for the refrags , go for the rounds not for the kills, then u will easily go 2.5k then u need talent too, im 3,3k elo, my nades are awful, my aim is good but not best , but iam a good clutcher and retaker, and very great entryfragger as ct
2020-06-04 19:05
I'm 3k elo and the secret is to play a shit ton and always strive to improve. I dont follow this always myself but you should always go to matches with good mindset, clear head and generally positive attitude. I find that if Ive had a long day at work or some issues in life that have taken my energy and caused me stress I will play worse. Sounds pretty obvious but if you get avg 22-24 kills every game for a month vs insane players you will feel like a beast and it will build your confidence. However if you have a shit game and cant think or aim at all because your head is not in it, it can crash it quite easily. Also find 5 man stacks everytime you play. I have a group of friends that I usually play with, all around 3k elo and good players, absolutely no ragers ever. Theres like 10-15 of us and I can find a game almost always when I want so its good. Still games these days are hard as fuck sometimes in 3k elo for a more "casual" player such as myself, sometimes you will lose elo a lot and then gain it back and more in a month. However I play just because I love the game and I love good matches so I dont care much about that.
