Almost every city shut down testing sites. I can't find it possible they could test and confirm that many cases......

We'll probably have another bigger wave in Europe in about a month, a third smaller wave early 2021, and then a tiny one mid 2021, then everything goes back to normal, and we forget about it (until a legit pandemic appears)

400k dead WITH social distancing, and lockdowns in many countries. Travel is on hold, mass gatherings are cancelled. Without any of that the number would probably be at least 10 times that
2020-06-03 09:33
4million still nothing. And eventually we will become Low key immune/The ones that might die from it will be dead already, so doubt weak corona will ever get close to a big number of deaths.

A year, maybe two for a beat case scenario. Worst case, we can't get rid of it and we just have to adapt to the virus.

i guess cause its ice soccer and not like basketball baseball or football, but for some reason I find soccer vastly more entertaining than hockey

The barrier of entry is too high, namely the cost. Young people don't get into it --> It doesn't get popular --> people don't strive for hockey as much as they do for basketball and American football. One other big reason is that American black people don't like hockey at all, who are a huge driving force of athletic performance and marketing in the NFL and NBA, also it doesn't appeal to anyone who has to make the decision between a cheaper sport and a high cost one. There are some individuals who have played but they have been Canadian and that has also made people not relate to them, I fucking loved the trade that sent Subban to NSH, it jumpstarted ''our'' cup run, but it ultimately didn't move the needle of hockey interest at all.

Do give it a go but don't be surprised if you don't recognize people because they wear a helmet, lose sight of the puck repeatedly, or don't get offsides and icings. Oh and hockey lets people fight their differences out on the ice although that's been on a huge decline recently. It's not ''ice soccer''. What you're thinking is ice bandy. youtube.com/watch?v=AAy5UX7-uxc

Well, they made it into the extended playoffs this year (24 teams instead of the normal 16) and they're against my favourite team, the Nashville Predators. The coyotes haven't made the playoffs since 2012, but hockey is more luck driven than other sports so with a hot goaltender that doesn't let anything in, they have a decent shot at the cup. They have talented players like Taylor Hall and Phil Kessel. Hall won the MVP of the league in 17-18. I just fucking hope the Predators get their shit together so I can enjoy a cup win although in this climate.

These riots will cause a new peak for sure. The impact will be seen within a month.
2020-06-03 07:12
It will last forever, just like all the rest, but we will hopefully forget about it after the summer and everything will return to normal again, but perhaps not cuz your(all) stupid governments must pretend that lockdowns and social distansing is needed for our safety so they cant allow it to return to normal this soon.
2020-06-03 07:22
Until the state has diminished the quality of your social life leaving you miserable and hopeless.
2020-06-03 07:33
Basically, until you accept it.

The virus would never stop before killing tens of millions in a span of centuries. That is if a vaccine is never made. We just gotta see which country got the vaccine done first
2020-06-03 07:33
I'm still waiting on all the dead Wisconsin voters that never happened from six weeks ago and all the dead Florida springbreakers from two months ago. The world shutdown because of a bullshit doomsday model and a third world italian healthcare system. Avg age of US dead from covid? 79yo most with other conditions or 6/10ths of 1 percent of the population whom if they just focused on them from the outset would've probably fared better. or for the leftists to get one right, any one on any topic in anything for the first time in 100yrs.
