Why are there protests about black lives matter in Europe? Can't you just leave AMERICAN problems to AMERICA You can have opinion about all the shit thats happening there, but Europe is in no way in the same situation as the US

who would protest? Black people are treated really good here so they dont care about this shit.
2020-06-03 09:54
It's also to show solidarity because in most nations it isn't anywhere near as bad as in the US.

U get your informations from news. So basically u know nothing about my country. Same i dont know nothing about germany. I live in warsaw and ive been around couple of public things like national day walk or lgbt walk and i saw it with my eyes. Than i saw abroad media talk about it. They only catch little things thats going on. They see one person with some stupid sign *bam* he is on news. Really people think that poland is sooo nationalistic we hate everyone etc. In reality its not true.
2020-06-03 10:00
yeah i am maybe just a bit prejudiced from news and some polish guys here that act like Poland is infallible

I will show you something. This is Polish March of Independence, organized every year on 11th of November, anniversary of reclaiming independence after WWI in 1918 prnt.sc/ssuo5e People with our country flags on our Independence Day are being called fascists. On the other hand this is Antifa, called after German word Antifaschismus prnt.sc/ssuq24 Now guess on your own what's wrong here?
2020-06-03 10:31
i think extremism is wong in both ways and its Antifa just a small group there protests from fucking conspiracy theorist rn who have more attention that that shit

Small group who is causing riots to happen in not so peaceful way like they show in US media. Well, sometimes it is enough.
2020-06-03 10:46
nt, everyone knows that Poland is racista
2020-06-03 10:43
Racism and police brutality are global issues; and global unity is only adding more pressure to resolve this than if it was exclusively the US. I'm not big on massive protests during a pandemic though.

im not saying i agree with either of you or what im about to say but this is why: the UK protests are either A) protests in unity with the US (why it targeted the US embassy) B) against discrimination in stop and search powers and the bias towards treatiing blacks and asians (particularly muslims) harsher both in disproportionate arrests and amount of maximum sentences.

if you think racism is an american problem then you are wrong. racism is all over europe! everywhere in every country. just because police haven't killed black, doesn't mean there is no racism...

It's because people want a reason to make chaos. Europeans have a fetisch for America more specifically Hollywood and want to follow their every move.
2020-06-03 10:15
EU should focus more on refugees not black
2020-06-03 10:16
+1 europe needs to increase refugee immigration
2020-06-03 10:28
There are protests about all kinds of international issues in Europe. Palistine, Russia Africa everything really. Demos in Europe show that it does matter to Europeans and that politicians need to mention this when talking with US representatives. It makes sense /closed

i mean racism is a problem everywhere, but generally in europe not so bad like in america. I feel like in america the system is racist (ofc not in every aspect but i hope you get what i mean), in europe ,,only" some people. The protests are also to show solidarity with the oppressed people protesting in america.

They're protesting under US embassies in support of black people in US, because they're obsessed with US. Like there's a shitload of Europeans on the internet arguing against Trump, pro Trump, against Biden, pro Biden, etc., like it's any of their business.
