Still find it hard to understand why hltv users are sooo hyped up about individual superheroes or "the best" in this game. OBVIOUSLY it's a TEAM game, but no: The puppy dogs in here are DRUUULING about individual performances. Zywoo? Wuuunderful player. No doubt. But titles and trophies are juzz not too impressive so far, aren't they?

Because it's great to see individuals shine. I like counterstrike, I like football in neither of them do I support teams that are most likely to win, but those that fill me with the most excitement to watch. Astralis is very very good, maybe the best ever, but I never watch them cause they don't excite me. I do watch Zywoo and S1mple, cause they excite me. I watch Faze cause they excite me, even though they aren't that good atm.

Fair enuff. After having watched thousands of hours of Counter Strike I've seen a few "superheroes" by now. It's basically "animal instincts". Now I like to watch players and teams who can "think" ... which after all separates us from the animal kingdom. But: Nothing wrong with different viewpoints!

If you didn't get excited about Astralis yesterday, I'm not sure what you're looking for! Quite a few roster changes, Gla1ve and Es3tag entry-fragging and a "new" IGL ... I find this renewal interesting! Clearly the play has loosened up a bit, and who would have thunk that Astralis would ever show more firepower than FaZe ... I DO believe in the FaZe lineup though. The "howling pack of puppy dogs" in hltv went for "FaZe fix" after playing with Kjaerbye only one week ... 😊

yea its still team game ofc and thats the reason why do you also have to consider team mates and not only zywoo(as an example). 1 player will not win you titles consistently and dev1ce wouldnt be able to win so much without 4 amazing team mates(that zywoo never had). also zywoo is active for not even 2 years. how many titles did dev1ce(again, as an example. i dont want to be specific) had after 1.5 year?

EXACTLY! Raw skill and talent only takes you so far. Then you have to build abilities like being a teammate, which roles you can or want to play or which benefit the team the most etc. This is an entirely different ballgame which requires MUCH more than just a fast mouse. Dev1ce close, yes, but the individual players of Astralis never topped any list of individual skills ... except prizes and trophies. I of course love Zywoo and S1mple: Capable of truly amazing stuff.

tbh i think that zywoo can easily play more roles. i mean look at vitality. they dont play around zywoo that much anymore, he doesnt even play with awp that often or sometimes completely pass that role to shox and yet he is able to perform on very high level individually. i ofc never played with him so i cant judge but based on data that i have(him playing different roles, i never saw him raging oh his team mates or blaming them etc) i expect that he is really good team player as well. time will tell where zywoo will end in the future and how many trophies he will be able to win in next years:) btw i like device. he is imo the most bashed player for literally no reason at all. i only used him and astralis as a team as an example. zywoo didnt have a chance to play in such an amazing team yet(not saying that vitality is bad but they are nowhere near prime astralis)

You have a point. Vitality can develop even more and I believe we see some experimenting these days. And yes, a lot of people in here are just howling with the pack regarding Dev1ce, as if he invented the good angles to hold with the AWP. Astralis found the most winning concept in history and that's anyway what it's all about in a professional sport no matter what random hltv users are complaining about. Enjoy the day, my friend.
