The point I came to make is that s1mple is not an entry fragger because you were listing opening kills to claim that s1mple is an entry fragger. I never said s1mple is bad at entry fragging.
You can't fairly judge opening kills on CT using stats because a majority of them are boosted by awp holding angles vs rifles. If you look at CT only cerq is better at "entry fragging" at Big Events All Time than s1mple, which shows how meaningless the stat is on CT.
I'll elaborate a bit more on the stats:
1) I used Big Events All Time for larger sample size, which includes 2018-2020 and also because people play loosely online and in less important events vs lower tier teams. s1mple has only 13.6% entry attempts in 2020 Big Events, which goes up to 17.8% in All Matches.
2) Since there are 5 players in a team, if you have less than 20% entry attempts it means someone else is taking first contact more often than you. Entry fraggers on navi are boombl4 and electronic with 25.4% and 25% entry attempts respectively in 2020 Big Events.
3) s1mple isn't a bad entry fragger; he simply isn't an entry fragger. He was the top entry fragger in 2015 (30% entry attempts, 51.8% success, 1.2 entry rating on LAN)
4) I suspect zywoo isn't shown in Big Events because he has too few maps played, like how s1mple doesn't show up in 2015-2017 Big Events but does appear if you look at LAN. Zywoo on LAN All Time (this includes 2019-2020) has 22.3% entry attempts, so he does entry a lot more than s1mple.
As for the actual matches, I watched s1mple entry less every year until I saw him hold in dust B tunnels last year without trading his teammates and I can no longer watch him. There's no way you can call him an entry fragger if you watch any navi games against good teams.
I didn't watch many vitality matches and in the ones I did (usually Navi vs Vitality) zywoo took on the entry role roughly half the time. After taking a look at the stats I can see that he definitely entries more than s1mple.
