Happens for me as well but it's only momentary

It happens cuz your game have different brightness from original Try to go out, change brightness you feel you need to have and go back in game

I have benq monitor and i have also kind of brightness problem but not in game, when i alt tab sometimes my desktop and everything beside cs is like super bright, like i would have black equalizer on max (20) lvl. I need to alt tab few times and it gets fixed by it self. It happens like once a week so not super often, but still this is annoying. And about cs brightness in game, it has been for a long time that after you set brightness lvl in options and reset game, then there is fake value which always shows 80, thats this has nothing to do with your real brightness which is finem just like you set

same it resets to 80% almost each itme annoying as i have to do it everytime back to 130%

Try this: Go to csgo.exe -> rightclick -> properties -> compatibility. Then remove the checkmark from "disable full screen optimization" if it's ticked.

There is a workaround to this problem binding seperate mat_monitorgamma values and switching between them after tabbing back into the game. Example: bind "k" "mat_monitorgamma 1.6" bind "l" "mat_monitorgamma 1.9" Simply hit L and then K when your brightness is lowered from tabbing.
