don't know about space odyssey but inside felt way too vague, it could be about anything really
btw I highly, highly recommend SOMA if you're into those kinds of games, you can get it for a few bucks on steam right now
its a game focused on atmosphere so it doesn't need an airtight plot IMO, what I got out of it was that the game was a simulation run by the ingame government to test something (idk) for nefarious reasons

thats what i like about their games, limbo and inside both made me stop and keep thinking wtf happened in the ending, honestly that feeling is so good and also the feeling of playing inside is great, so dark and crazy

it's pretty easy to cheat on it, pvp is unbalanced, loading times, inflations, lack of support for dlcs that have already been made (ex : original heist vs casino heist) and some other stuff
while these do not prevent one from enjoying the game it makes it far from being a masterpiece

+1, they ruined it ever since they started introducing these super op vehicles every dlc which u just cant fight, especially the opressor, thats like the biggest bs ever, when the heist dlc came out and these first armored cars which were perfectly balanced were released gta online was sooo good, much less cheaters and inflation as well

No those are the games i played in the past and loved. I've always been an indie game fan, btw enis doesn't really know about indie games, he is recommending whatever is popular among the genre. His comments on some of the games shows he doesn't really care about them that much. He recommends a game but doesn't really know about it. I wouldn't listen to his reviews or opinions about games, but i love his documentaries on the gaming industry.

yeah I know, it's such a shame, Definitely best german game ever. Weren't they supposed to make a new Game, new Elex or something? Elex was okay, even bought it to support the devs, but it's setting is too weird, it just doesn't work much for me, it's worse than this whole pirate theme of Risen

Yeah, that's probably it. It would be hard for you to enjoy gothic 1 and 2 now because of how outdated those are, but back in the day it was a mindblowing game. All other games are mere copies of gothic

Hollow Knight should work on lower end systems, Ori is kinda demanding tho. I strongly recommend Hollow Knight, it's the best 2d game i have ever played, i played it like 100+ hours and it's on sale rn. It's insane how much playtime it offers, plus it has 4 free dlcs with huge amount of content.

I agree that it's much more combat oriented than ori but the lore is insane, and i mean it's truly amazing. If you finish it i think you will appreciate the game so much. Because if you don't finish it, it just feels like mario, but after finishing and getting all 3 endings (DLCs bring other endings too but they are kinda challenging to get) i was just left staring at the screen like damn... I really think it deserves a second chance, hope you enjoy it more this time.

I play every game with kb&m because controllers feel dumb, i feel like i have no control over the character with a controller. I managed to finish the game with 112% completion which is the highest and oh boy was it hard... But it was really fun, i wish i was able to erase my memory and play it again. Try it out with keyboard and see if it feels comfortable. Controls are much more crisp and responsive than cuphead so i think it will feel much better.

I played 80+ hours and I loved so much every piece of this game (I think it's my favorite genre alone with arpg)... until I met White Palace.
Absolutely boring and exhausting shit tbh. And I'm really like challenging... There was no real point to adding THIS, especially with such a beautiful soundtrack.
This was most unfun experience in the game. And after hours when I finally finished it I feel really nothing - no happiness, no any satisfaction at all. WAS JUST REALLY TIRED :(
And before WP I was sure that I will completely finish a game, take the Platinum. But then I found out about Path of Pain...
Dunno, after WP I decided to take a break, and it's been several weeks now (maybe even month+).
What I have to go:
- Uumuu
- boss in the garden (in the left upper corner, that hits you x2)
- Trial of the Fool
- and some DLC content/bosses after
And I'm totally OK with all of that, except Path of Pain.
Sadly, but game still attracts me and no longer attracts at the same time :(

Path of Pain is completely optional, you don't have to do it to finish the game. It's really not that hard if you managed to finish white palace already. It's all about timing.

It has a journal entry so it probably is counted towards 112% but if you want to go over 100% you shouldn't complain about hard platforming, it's supposed to be hard, you know. But it might not even be necessary for 112% idk

MP 3 is good and different but personally I didn't like the fact that they changed the whole theme and settings. Can't help though because it was different writer and developer.
I like the neo-noir crime thriller theme and the overall story telling of MP 1 & 2 more. The parts where he's in limbo state was quite a nice touch to the game as well.
