Fnatic were pretty fucking dominant.
I see your point though. I think Astralis, NiP and SK/Luminosity won their Majors for being ahead of the meta, thus facing weaker competition. Today, even though online CS and a packed schedule has made some teams burn out, the ranking is pretty stacked. Realistically several teams would have a shot at winning a Major if it was today, and odds are Astralis wouldn't be one of them.
If we can keep this competetive scene going until Rio, with G2, FaZe, Vitality, FURIA, NaVi and hell even BIG, having the potential to win big tournaments, even if their performances are up and down, then we'll have an insane Major to look forward to. Considering Fnatic, mouse, Astralis, Liquid and EG will hopefully recover until then, and with an outside chance of NiP or MAD Lions being competetive, we could be facing a very open Major where basically all participating teams have a shot at the win.
