censorship 2020

Private companies can censor free speech anyway they want (Twitter, Facebook). Which is odd because free speech is the base of pretty much every Constitution around the world. The worst thing is that this stupidity got it's way into Universities (not the first time) with safe spaces and all this snowflake nonsense: theguardian.com/books/2017/jul/24/richar.. And now we have Frankie moaning about beta baiters... Free Speech > Hate Speech

Would be interesting to make an hltv purge Everyone can say what they want and comments from that day can't lead to bans

What would you do if someone talks shit in your house?
2020-07-02 17:17
private companies like facebook or tvvitter have so much control over public opinion and discourse, they should have to abide by free speech as vvell

Private companies can censor free speech anyway they want because YOU use THEIR platform to post YOUR shit. If you don't agree to the TOS don't use their sites

ah yes yes totally agree but the problem is that those companies are becoming so big and in control of political sphere in so many countries by limiting reach of for example conservative content etc. People should filter BS themselves - we don't need private companies with an agenda to do this for you. IT's just a matter of time for them to be broken down. One small legislation in EU and they won't suspend any account, limit reach of any statement etc. I posted on twitter a link to actual scientific research on trans suicide rates and they blocked my account lol. So if they go against science and free speech I don't think this world will hold in this form much longer.

maybe try VK then if you don't feel loved by twitter. it's not their fault that they have many users. you can't remove their rights because of that. you agree to the TOS, if you act against them don't get surprised when your acc gets suspended.

you seriously think they're acting against the law and risk multi-billion $ fines? there is literally no law holding them back from enforcing their TOS, if they are in fact not against actual law. your everyday life =/= your internet life on private platforms i.pinimg.com/originals/d8/75/23/d875235b.. here, sue them

I don't think you understand what free speech means exactly. Also if you don't agree to their terms, don't accept them.
