The engineers yes, the people at the FIA no, the FIA are fucking clueless.
They are trying to make sure the cars dont get faster as they will have same tyres next year rather than a new compound, as you know as cars get faster pirelli have to adjust their tyres to make sure they dont fail.
Do you know how they are going to do this, they are going to cut away a section of the floor from either side, reducing down force from ground effect, making the overtaking even harder as it will shift the balance of downforce even further towards the top of the car, they have no idea what they are doing and everything they have done since 2014 has made things worse.
"well its coming now why are you still complaining?"
3-4 year too late, at minimum, you could argue more like 7 year too late.
"They have spent years on research to get it absolutely perfect."
Theyve years trying to figure a technology we had in the 70s, ground effect, its that simple, less down force from wings, more from the floor, its really that simple.
"You also have to always have in mind, the teams always have a season to run, a car to build, they didnt have the 4 years to build the car."
Why an entire new car, the aero is enough.
"And no offense, but i still think the people in F1 know better what theyre doing than you and me. Dont complain that its too late, be optimistic because its going to come."
Why would i be optimistic over a group that has done nothing but make bad choices, 2014 regulations were an awful choice, 2017 was also stupid, i could tell you a mile off with a cursory glance those were bad choices.
Also 2022 is not now, thats about a year and a half away, it should have happened in about 2018/19.
