I think if he leaves he would be remembered much differently than if he stayed, right now 100 Thieves is in a transition period where they are going from the hype of Kassad to the strategic approach of ImAPet, Kassad was the guy who brought the hype to the team and encouraged the team from behind their backs, but in the role of coach he didnt do as much to prepare them for matches as most higher level coaches would. In ImAPet's first interview after joining he made a point to say that 100 Thieves never did any demo reviews to prepare for matches, they didnt go into games with counter strats, they just went into games saying "we have a plan built around ourselves and ourselves only and we are going to follow it". This is not the best approach to the game, if they went in with a strategy to play against their opponents specifically and being able to prey on the weaknesses of specific teams they'd be able to win so many more games, we can already see the effects of this, 100 Thieves picked Overpass against Gen.G. Neither Gen.G nor 100 Thieves ever plays Overpass, this pick wasnt "we are good on this map so we are going to go in and win because we are better than them" this pick was "Overpass is the weakest map of Gen.G and since they think we are going to ban it, they wont, so we are going to pick it and since Gen.G is bad on Overpass we will win it easily" and they did, they came in with basic knowledge of how to play Overpass, which Gen.G doesnt possess and they won it 16-8. That was a really long explanation to say, 100 Thieves has a chance to be better than they've ever been and if he abandoned them at their point of most hope then even if he had success the entirety of Oceania would think "If only he stayed" and hes probably had chances to leave before but hes been on the team for over 6 years, when Jason Lake announced his juggernaut before he had a final lineup he randomly followed jks and Gratisfaction on twitter, now that's weak evidence but I wouldnt be suprised if Jason Lake tried to negotiate with the two players on Renegades with the highest peaks, especially right at the end of their contracts. I dont think jks would abandon 100 Thieves, jks and AZR is one of the longest standing duos in cs history and in my eyes jks is too loyal to leave the Boys and to be honest I pray to God that he never leaves us. Sorry for making this so long but I had a lot to say about this.
