bro, today there is no concrete division between ideologies like that was before. there is not even actual definition of right wing or left wing. also, right wing and left wing concept is generally used in social sphere only, and not in economic and foreign policy spheres
now about Modi, he is the PM of India, and a leader of this stature doesn't really behave in such a concrete manner of right wing or left wing. he has to take care of everyone's ideologies in country. so he cant be that partial on public stage. now there is not only division in political spectrum, there is also division in economic (liberal or marxist) and foreign policy (globalisation or nation state) as well. Modi is a visionary leader and he know that being conservative in economic and foreign sphere wont help India grow and hence he chose liberal path in economics, and that does not make him left wing. every right wing leader is choosing liberal economy. though socially, he is still right wing, this can be seen in his promotion of conservative Indian values such as namaste, ayurveda, yoga etc. So, he is a conservative leader, which is a part of right wing section of spectrum.
edit: he has also shown his conservative thoughts by stating the values of religious festivals (be it any religion). you can see him talking about significance of popular ancient indian beliefs etc.
