Y we no have Scotland flag >:(
I don't want to be referred to as English cause nobody wantes that, but that's what people assume when they see UK flag. Scotland, Wales, England and N. Ireland should be made into seperate flags!
And they are still individual countries? You are probably from England I'm guessing. If someone asks a person from Texas what country they are from they say America, but ask a Scottish person and they will never say Britain
It's pretty confusing tbh, because it isn't exactly an independant country. All of them can be described as countries, or nations, as can the UK in its entirety, but none of them are independant states
The Scottish Parliament answers to the unified national government. It cannot make it's own currency, have it's own army and from what I'm aware it cannot establish it's own diplomatic relations
Also you cannot be a citizen of Scotland you are a British citizen
In my personal opinion, the Scottish Independence referendum should be carried out once a generation but you can always hope
Just to further prove my point Scotland is not listed as a member of the UN nor does it have an own ISO code
Sorry, but that is not really something the rest of the World knows about.
Besides isn't what is decided in London still the controlling the laws and I would think there the monarchy thing. And there is also like passports and what not.
Also the Brexit mess...
