Is my dad considered rich
Finland Kosm0IsBack
He is 39 as many of you probably know and makes €40K-50k a momth with small taxes. He doesn’t buy cool stuff though.

Not buying cool stuff is what smart rich people do. I don't think that's technically rich but it's above average maybe like higher end of middle class.

this why ppl never stay rich, cuz they buy useless shit. if u look ppl like bezoz and gates and jobs, they wear the same set of outfits on 6 different days of the week.
2020-07-13 16:56
And then buy a yacht for a billion.
2020-07-13 17:12
when they have 100 billions still in bank account

u compare a yach with clothes? yacht will not lose value more likely will increase in value, same with jewelry, especially watches.

Bruh, a yacht is like a car, off the lot it immediately decreases in price due to being used
2020-07-15 01:46
No. A yacht is an asset not investment, it not only depreciates with time but is extremely expensive in upkeep. Very few hold their value which are very old classics. Jewelry lol, if it's not a piece owned by someone really famous you'll get only market cost of materials. Retail prices are boosted af. Timepieces are different story but as a collector you need to know which to buy.

50k/month middle class LOL
2020-07-13 17:04
Yeah maybe upper middle class but not middle class.
2020-07-13 17:06
+1 lmao.
2020-07-14 21:56
It is for sure upper middle class no doubt but maybe even upper clas. He makes like 25 more than the average Finn.
2020-07-13 17:05
Serbia TheSerb
Higher end of middle class? 50k a month is 600k a year he earns 14times more than the average salary in finland. He isnt dan bilzerian rich but he earns like a football player in a bad club or if hes a substitute. He earns 2.4 mil in 4 years thats much ubove the middleclass

Avg finn salary is 3548€ atleast it says
2020-07-13 19:36
Well verokone on helsinginsanomat says it’s 24x more but that’s the median
2020-07-13 19:46
what the fuck? 50k a MONTH is pretty darn rich.
2020-07-13 17:56
If it’s middle class according to him I would like to know how much his dad makes. 200k a momth?
2020-07-13 19:28
It is obviously not middle class. I mean your dad is not filthy rich like Bill Gates or other Dollar Billionaires of course but it is still pretty fucking rich no matter from where you look at it.
2020-07-13 19:36
Being upper class is about social heritage as much as just earning money though. Nouveau riche.
2020-07-15 01:34
Brazil sakaaa
if this isn't rich i don't know what is.. $50k/month correspond to 600k a year. Of course it depends a lot on region, gross income vs liquid income and expenses but basing on US Dollar i've made a little research and found that above $180k a year is considered rich and above $1 MIL is extremely rich (still away from the 1%). So, by this criteria, $50k/month is at least, upper class and rich.

Depends on where you live, that's like 85 times more than what average people make in my country

2020-07-13 19:07

2020-07-13 22:46
And he usually makes that 50k
2020-07-13 22:53
Oh no, i was 10k of the median in Denmark. Im sorry. It's still average to get 50k a year. Id say average is 30-50k. When i said something is pretty average it doesn't mean it's spot on average. Oh what grade did you get? Oh i got a c, well that's pretty average. Well actually that's not true, the average is in between c-d. What, that's so irelevant. No one cares dude. Ah.. it's a month. How to look stupid. Im sorry, im not gonna be a pussy and delete what i said but yeah i fucked up. My bad

then hes doing very good , especially not buying every expensive crap
2020-07-13 16:49
But sometimes I want him to buy atleast something. This man’s friend makes the same amount (around half a million euros) a year and he has three cars. McLaren 720s, Porsche 911 Turbo S and BMW X6. That’s like a million euros in cars, not worth it with their i come but like a BMW M3? Also he buys pretty cheap clothes but I guess he does it how he wants to.

Even 9.9%. Even 5 billion is poor compared to hil.

Well then its rich af
2020-07-13 20:56
What is your net worth? Getting 50k a couple months/years does not makes you "rich". True rich people = at least USD 5 mio net worth (excluding your primary residence). Otherwise you are just a high income individual, or not even that.

Depends on trust between child and parents. I have all data to access my parents' bank accounts.

I am 16 and yes he did. I once made the mistake of telling and did it again because the attention was so great when I was 12 and 13. It’s stupid to be honest. I had one guy in my class last year who had a 60yo dad making 200k a year. I’m not putting him down or anything but buying Gucci shit with that to prove that you are rich is weird. He flexed and flexed but yeah I never wanted to say anything. Funny to think that my dad is 21 years younger and makes three times as much with most likely smaller taxes.

2020-07-14 16:52
Yes you can in some cases. He has a stable business and it generates 40-50k a month. I don’t see your point.

No, your dad is considered a mongol. A beta male. A homosexual. Don't ever bring your dad up again in alpha forum like Good.

dude wtf he is rich most people don't even make 40k in an entire year i mean he's not Jeff Besos Rich but say he's earning 35k a month after taxes even at that he's still getting over 420,000 a year that's pretty rich dude
2020-07-14 23:53
Yeah he makes a bit over a million bucks a year or 450k. This i after taxes though.
2020-07-15 00:08
even if your only making 100k a year after taxes that's in the upper end of earnings in most countries
2020-07-15 00:55
That’s top 1% here or maybe even a bit more
2020-07-15 01:02
Depends on your definition of "rich". There isn't a technical terminology involved... it's just a term to describe people with lots of money. There is no specification involved. Personally I wouldn't consider that income as "rich" but it would depend on how much investment was made, savings accounts, etc... EDIT: Added quotations.
2020-07-15 01:10
I think rich is equal to upper class. Would you say he is ipper middle class?

There is no way I can determine that from your text, I'm afraid. I'd assume your Father is a monetarily sensible person. :)
