Top 3 Coaches in CSGO history
device |
Denmark 4vs0
IMO 1.) Zonic ~ obvious reasons, tactically supreme, capable of playing himself so he's able to put himself in his players shoes, able to keep team morale up at all times and keep players hype. A lot of the credit for astralis tactics goes to gla1ve but a good part of it should go to sonic 2.) Zews ~ only coach to "build" 3 top 3 teams in csgo history i believe (LG 2016, Liquid 2018, EG 2020), before zews got to EG liquid beat them every single time they matched up, and EG looked very weak overall, now EG is a top 2-3 team and destroy liquid every time they matchup. For liquid, before zews joined they were a team that fluked 2 majors then s1mple left so they fell out of the top 10, zews helped turn liquid into a contender late 2017 and a top 3 team in 2018 3.) Starix ~ good enough of a coach for navi to justify kicking long time IGL Zeus in favor of s1mple, with the idea being that starix would take over as a coach/igl but the coaching ban in cs kinda screwed that project up

Yo le noob, This ranking is worthless if the top 1 coach is not the greatest, glorious, magnificent French mastermind Ozstr3ker, the fantastic coach of team LDLC.OL

i see your point with 3, but i think adreN or b1ad3 shouldve taken the 3rd spot. both of them brought more depth for their respective teams at their peak and both are very smart and tactical first 2 i agree with 100%

adren is literally a useless coach liquid wouldve won in 2019 with or without him and he does absolutely nothing to keep his team calm under pressure he just stands around and walks around like a dope in fact id argue he is a bottom 10 coach of all time b1ad3 is good but not top 3 not as good as starix
2020-07-20 19:57
hes a smart guy, gave liquid a lot more tactical depth. rn liquid need a louder voice which is why i think adreN should be an analyst depends on how you see it tbh for b1ad3 vs starix

ive never seen adren to a single thing for TL, since adding him their tactics haven't gotten better, their firepower got better from kicking taco I've never seen adren keep liquid calm under pressure, I've never seen adren hype liquid up from a bad situation nothing out of him, he's fully useless

Probably not an immediate #1 Liquid have far too many problems for that
2020-07-21 19:03
TL is the most skilled lineup to ever play CS:GO. There's far too many quiet and low personalities, that aside from Stewie, just don't get fired up. Kassad can get them guns blazing and he isn't a slouch tactically either.

Well, I am not really here to argue with anyone, but threat re innovated NIP, got top 8 as a player coach at a major. He was a huge part of meta change in 2016.

threat is a top 5 coach but i think his moves with NIP 2016 were a bit overrated since NIP literally fluked 3 trophies that year (don't come at me with the "they were legit top 3") they literally won a trophy, then fully fell off until the next trophy they won u could argue him over starix but not zonic or zews

depends on how BIG plays on LAN, cant put an online coach over 3 LAN proven coaches
2020-07-21 16:04
Let's don't discuss if BIG is an online-team and their coaches are onliners. Lets just wait till the next big offline tournament and let them prove themselves. :)

thats the point lmao they havent proven themselves yet so u cant say their coach is top 3 all time u can say they are top 1 rn because there is only online but u cant say anything about them all time since they haven't done shit on lan and don't bring up that useless t4 dreamhack open
