Title. I dont get how can you enjoy watching this, maybe someone can explain the point (dont mean to offend, im curious. Just as someone may ask "whats the point of watching 22 men kick a ball" etc)

2020-07-27 20:11
There is a story behind all this clownfiesta , small acts and fancy roles , if you watch 2-3 episodes you will get my point . Raw is better
2020-07-27 18:49
With wwe i mean everything of the kind. Tbh i thought wwe and raw were the same, ive never watched all this more than 20 mins in my life. Kalispera btw.
2020-07-27 18:50
Hahahahaha kalispera You will get inside this shit if you watch 2-3 entire episodes . It’s funny , all connected in some point and Wrestlamania is the Best . Try it , it’s Summer anyway You have time
2020-07-27 18:59
wwe = raw, smack, nxt
2020-07-28 10:49

2020-07-27 18:50
I think thats BS. Hobbies have little to do with intelligence.
2020-07-27 18:52
watching wwe is not a hobby. a hobby is something that requires mental or physical efforts.
2020-07-27 18:54
Watching football aint a hobby then. Watching series or movies either.
2020-07-27 19:30
ofc, they aren't hobbies. only a lazy mofo would say that his hobby is watching tv, because in reality, he has no hobbies.
2020-07-27 19:34

he just loved falling asleep watching tv. what's wrong with that? it's a time killer, not a hobby.
2020-07-27 19:48
Okay, I was just baiting the shit outta you up until now but I gotta say that Indian rural people are absurdly strong. No disrespecc to your grandfather or anything but it's actually unfunny how physically strong those guys can be.

Hobby(noun) Oxford definition: "An activity done regularly in one's leisure time for pleasure." Oops
2020-07-27 19:59
lul got em
2020-07-27 20:01
activity (noun), Cambridge definition: he situation in which a lot of things are happening or people are moving around: There was a lot of activity in preparation for the Queen's visit. Economists are concerned by the low level of economic activity. There was a sudden flurry of activity when the director walked in.

Activety has a lot of meanings, as many words do in the English language. Cambridge explains each different definition said word can have, and it just so happens the one with MOVEMENT is on top of the page. If you go down further, you can see different variations that is equally correct. That's why you use Oxford for precise definitions. You're still completely wrong. Sorry dude.
2020-07-27 20:15
ofc if you're 200kg no-lifer watching tv is gonna the only "activity" or "hobby" you have :D

It's like any other TV series, but with people fighting, I don't get why everyone is so mad about it. It's fun, simple as that. There are plenty of great federations aswell that are far better than WWE and give a better product than the one they're delivering.
2020-07-27 18:57
I enjoyed when i was young just fun to watch i guess, before the days of knowing it was fake there was an enjoyment factor to it. Don't watch anymore just occasionally come across some old best bits montages on youtube i'll watch for the nostalgia
2020-07-27 18:58
i love it. especially brock lesnar and john cena. also i love RandyKeithOrton's RKO
2020-07-27 19:00
I was literally wondering the same yesterday. I think it has something to do with liking theatre and masculine fantasies. Not (necessarily) in a gay way, but like superhero and action movies kinda way. Some people maybe just prefer seeing it live action than from a movie screen I guess. Maybe they can live in the moment better that way.
2020-07-27 19:01
Quitted watching it at 11/12yo despite being a hard core fan for years. It became kinda too cringe Imo and maybe it wasnt so fun for me as I grew older idk. Undertaker the best

Not everyone had access to the internet while growing up. I got introduced to WWE by my friends and I learned it was fake when my friends learned it was fake. Also I could only watch it at my friend's house since we have no TV channels which broadcast WWE.
2020-07-28 07:52
Its fine bro. He was just trying to sound smarter. Ofc a guy by himself, until he is at least 14 or 15, wont find wwe is fake if he likes it. At the end we all realize earlier because we hear it somewhere, let it be Internet, friends talk, et caetera.

WWF >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> WWE good old days when the rock was the fucking superstar (1999-2001) bestest
2020-07-27 20:02
haha yea i dont understand aswell... a friend of mine says its soo cool even if its acted, good story n shit but idk about it their acting reminds me of the football pussies screaming in pain after being touched and laying on the ground for almost an eternity
2020-07-27 20:07
The football part: its often made to try force a card for rival. Obv if you get tackled and instantly go up, referee is less likely to show card. Do I like it? No. Do they do it because theyre weak pussies? No.
2020-07-27 20:28
i know but that kills the picture of a "man" like... they look like pussies but ofc they want to always achieve the positive for their team same with the shitty hand raising. when i had football fever when i was kid, football was very different
2020-07-27 20:30
Thats uefa / fifa fault. Theyve put the rules to punish most contacts between players, completely forgetting that football is a contact sport. Players just use this in their favor as its logical. If any team tries to play with intensity, they'll be yellow carded to death.
2020-07-27 20:33
i used to watch wwe as a kid, as a teen i became a smark and praised njpw to its highest regard, now im over it

2020-07-27 20:15
I used to watch wwe till 2012. It became boring after that
2020-07-27 20:21
No. It's fake and childish. WWF/Attitude Era has a much better memory for me.
2020-07-27 20:26
I do enjoy it but i'm fully aware that it's staged
2020-07-27 20:31
Yes yes, we all know. Its not a toxic thread to say people who watch it are stupid or anything.
2020-07-27 20:34
Used to watch it sometimes on TV at midnight on a cool russian TV-channel called "2x2", didn't get what it's about at first, but then found it quite fun to watch

It's fine if you feel that way, some people actually watch Golf too while me here can't understand how can one even find it a tiny but enjoyable. Not going to talk about WWE here but professional wrestling in general. Once you realize and completely understand the fact that professional wrestling is basically a form of entertainment, giving enjoyment to people and not just about guys fighting, it becomes easier to comprehend. Stepping into the ring, talking in face of your opponent with a mic in your hand and making yourself sound believable even though people know that it's scripted, it's nothing less than an art. Going toe to toe against each other while making sure the well being of yourself as well as your oppenent, it's a tough job in itself and requires a great amount of training. It's just like watching a movie or drama, except the fights are more of a central point. No one actually gives a shit about the results as long as the storyline and the acting aka the fights are great, just like it is in the movies and series. We tune in to watch people put their bodies on the line just to give us some entertainment, we see them sweating their balls off in the ring just so we could cheer them and have a good time There are many other promotions other than WWE too which more or less have the same formula but with different twists and tradations on their own. NJPW for example is more violent than now WWE but it's even more goofy and cringy at times.
2020-07-27 21:49
U just saved 10 minutes of my time, I wanted to type something similar

thats one way to put it. Yes its scripted with pre-determined outcomes and sometimes the callouts can even be heard audibly during the fights, but it still doesnt take away the fact that these guys actually do put in a lot of time and effort and their whole body for the cause.
