Why
2020-07-31 12:25
I don't know how gtx 1660 performs but I think RTX would have been better, you're not getting all the features monitor is fine as long as you only use it for gaming, I can't stand 1080p anymore when I switched to 1440p tho don't know the keyboard brand but if it's decent it's fine and your mouse is kinda wack, should have went for g703 but I understand if it's a budget build

I think 16GB is enough for gaming, unless you are one of those people that has 20 programs open at the same time.
2020-07-31 13:59
on a real note, why would you ask for a rating after buying and assembling it? shouldn't you have done that prior? We got the same CPU and motherboard though. 😎

I rate 8/10.
2020-07-31 12:45
you built an average/medium pc that will last 1 year or 2 years top with 400€ more you could have built a high end pc that would last for 5 years

Which part should i upgrade?
2020-07-31 12:35
cpu and gpu
2020-07-31 12:35
cpu? really? this shit still sits at 30% in games
2020-07-31 12:47
dude i've built a pc in 2015 and still holds out well. don't tell me what to do lol
2020-07-31 12:50
ok what components do you have? the r5 3600 is a pretty nice cpu for the budget and will hold up at least 3 years with all AAA games it can handle a rtx 2080, so your 1660 super will probably be the bottleneck first upgrade your ram and youre fine, if your computer isnt powerfull enough for games anymore in a few years just upgrade your gpu and youre fine dont listen to that italian pizza guy
2020-07-31 12:55
just cause it can handle a 2080 doesnt mean its the perfect choice for the budget he can spend 400€ more and secure a 5year high end pc if he upgrades the gpu and spends a little more on cpu
2020-07-31 12:56
but what if he has no 400€ more? he probably had a budget and for that he wanted to get a pc as good as possible and if you want to build a pc for arround 1000€, the r5 3600 is the cpu to go for edit: i agree with you that there are way better processors out there, but they are all more expenisive
2020-07-31 13:00
"but what if he has no 400€ more? " we dont know that, i just pointed out the best solution performance/money when i built my pc i went for a 5yr build even if that meant waiting 1 or 2 months more of paycheck from working
2020-07-31 13:04
i do agree with you, waiting is sometimes better i still play on an xeon e3 1231v3 because i want to wait for the new amd/nvidia releases but still, i assume that he wanted to build the pc right now what makes is difficult to raise the budget or wait for new releases maybe his old pc broke and he needed a new one

Does my cpu & gpu works well with each other or is it bottleneck?
2020-07-31 13:45
well technically speaking your gpu is bottlenecking, but since your gpu is still pretty capable of current games you will still have good performance anyways. bottleneck doesnt mean that your gpu is bad, it just means that your cpu is capable of handling stronger gpus aswell

NA talking shit lol
2020-07-31 14:19
A r5 3600 will be perfectly adequate for games for another 3-5 years for sure and likely even longer than that. 6 cores 12 threads is no where near what current games are utilizing. It’s SC performance is also respectable and won’t show any problems for a long time (and that’s assuming games move in a more SC focused direction, which likely won’t happen). The 1660 will be around for years as well. A 960 still holds in own in triple a games and can for the most part achieve 60 FPS on 1080p on modern titles. Why would a 1660 not do the same? It’s not like he bought a throwaway card in the 1650 or anything like that. You are talking out of your ass. Your going out of your way to spread misinformation to make other people unhappy. You are truly the epitome of incel culture.

2020-07-31 12:56
2020-07-31 12:57
2 years ago you could say the same and buy i7-8700k because it was a top class CPU. Today we have i5-10600k with the same specs and it's just a middle class. Buying "future-proof" hardware in 2020 is one of the stupidest things you can do. In the next 2 years we will have DDR5, PCI-e 4.0/5.0 and other new stuff, there is no point in spending more money on better parts unless you really need it for your tasks right now.
2020-07-31 14:11
doesnt matter if new tech comes out, a good rig will still hold well
2020-07-31 14:13
3600 will easily hold in he next 2-3 years.
2020-07-31 14:13
not 5
2020-07-31 14:14
5 is not even needed, it's just a number in your heard. Current hardware's obsolescence is a lot faster than 5 years.
2020-07-31 14:18
u dont understand, if u spend a little more you have an investment that performs well for 5 years instead of 2-3
2020-07-31 14:19
I think you're the one here who doesn't understand. PC hardware is not good investment nowadays. Read #56 and #63 again.

It looks really good for the money you have spent. I mean for your budget, it is a good pc.
2020-07-31 13:50
good build
2020-07-31 13:51
How much did you pay for it? And are you true Japan?
2020-07-31 13:52
i'm sure it can't run crysis,gta 4 and red dead 2
2020-07-31 13:52
Should've saved some money on mouse/keyboard and went with a 2060 + better psu. Also a cheap boot ssd would've been nice, they're not that expensive atm. Other than that the hardware seems pretty good.
2020-07-31 13:53
dysk tysionc
2020-07-31 13:59
Meh. Why you ask for ratings after you've picked all the parts? Good for gaming I guess? Awkward timing at which to build new PC, next gen gpus right around the corner. Just 1-2 months untill much stronger videocards will come out and make previous tech seem like weaksauce. The other change would be mortar max motherboard instead. Because it's cheaper and have second m.2 slot. Few more usb ports on io, otherwise same. Other choices seems all right to me.
2020-07-31 14:05
Since he bought a 1660 he is clearly not after the latest GPU's as they're way too expensive for him
2020-07-31 14:10
For the same price he'd be able to afford lot more powerful gpus, if not to spend a penny more. Gtx 1660 super was great deal for price so far, until next gen started approaching. But the issue is that it's going to fall short at job to reach 144fps@1080p, in many games. Well, it will work well, yes, but it's not gonna be any cheaper option, if he ends up upgrading it soon anyway. Unless he planned to upgrade it all along anyway and just couldn't handle waiting anymore.
2020-07-31 14:20
What GPU is better at the same price then?
2020-07-31 14:26
If not next gen gpus themselves, then rtx 2060 or even 2070 might be discounted down to the price point.
2020-07-31 14:30
yea i upgraded all my stuff except my 1060. waiting for 3000 so i can pick up a cheaper RTX super or smth
2020-07-31 14:37
tbh it doesnt make much sense to ask if the parts are good AFTER you bought them xD
2020-07-31 14:12
Good enough, why asking us tho if u already bought it omegalul
2020-07-31 14:19
Cheaped out on PSU
2020-07-31 14:19
bad bait man... Seasonic doesnt make shit products :()
2020-07-31 14:30
No you should get 650W if you wanna upgrade in future
2020-07-31 16:40
lol u very stupid, a 550W is enough to handle a 9900K and rtx 2080 TI. go learn wattage knub and get out :()
2020-07-31 18:34
Actually big true or memeing? I'm looking to upgrade my 1070 to 3080Ti or 3090 or whatever the best shit is gonna be, with the ol' 9900K 5Ghz and I was thinking if my 850W can handle it.
2020-07-31 18:47
no memes, anandtech.com/show/13346/the-nvidia-gefo.. 2080 ti system takes around 400 watts when gaming. and that is measured from the wall socket. after that u have psu loss, so the actual wattage after the psu is around 370 watts (~87% PSU efficiency) 850 Watt is overkill already :()
2020-07-31 18:57
very cool
2020-07-31 20:05
102 has huge wheel problems. buy something like hyperx pulsefire
2020-07-31 14:30
Its like the old build i was tryna do but 1660s might be bad since most games require alot of gpu horsepower
2020-07-31 14:43
pretty average for a gaming pc. 5/10
