From being major contenders to not being #1 in NA lul
I think stewie ruined liquid from inside
Imo he doesn't suite well for this team, both personally wise and in terms of gamestyle
Not to mention that he is playing pretty bad
No, they actually won tournaments with stewie2k instead of perpetual 2nd with BOT TACO. Also no team has stayed prime forever besides maybe astralis so I don’t see your point about ruining liquid from the inside
Liquid with Stew:
iBUYPOWER Masters 2019
IEM Sydney 2019
DreamHack Masters Dallas 2019
EPL Season 9
ESL One Cologne 2019
BLAST Pro Series Los Angeles 2019
IEM Chicago 2019
EPL Season 11 NA
Liquid with TACO:
SuperNova CS:GO Malta
astralis skipping 75% of events and being in shitty form for the events they did attend in the summer of 2019
astralis at their highest form ever and the highest form of any team ever in csgo history
with that being said i still think stew liquid was better mainly because elige was no where near superstar level in taco liquid
when i hear liquid i imagine this:
Here it comes.... once again... the first face is adreN; hes gonna hit the ground; theres cold; OH WHAT!!?!?! THE JUMPING DOUBLE FROM COLD!!!!!!! WHAT IS UH GOING ON RIGHT NOW! HOW DOES HE DO THIS!?!?!?!? COLD TO SAVE LUMINOSITY WITH THE AWP PLAY, UNTHINKABLE SCENES THERE ON THE B APARTMENTS! THEY NEEDED A HUGE PLAY, BUT THAT WAS SOMETHING IM NEVER GONNA SEE AGAIN!!!!
It wasn't showtime that he called that, he blamed shoowtime and said he doesn't know the basics of cs, then some random twitter user shared screenshot of them getting 16-0ed and cold replied "shutup fa--ot kid"
The problem with 2018 Liquid is they tried to play like Astralis and weren't as good as Astralis were at their own playstyle. Not entirely surprising everyone was copying Astralis and no one was as good.
When Stewie came into the team whether it was him or Nitro or Adren or whomever they developed their own playstyle and went on one of the most dominant tournament runs ever and achieved a feat that you can say with pretty much 100% certainty will never be replicated.
There's really no comparison tbh.
