Gaming chair, gaming keyboard, gaming mouse pad, gaming desk are all redundant stuff, probably even worse than normal options in some cases. They are just adding redundant component that makes thing messy and you pay for it.
It's just like people that still build full size ATX computer nowadays when you really should go for iTX, these people fantasize about adding 3 fans on each side of the case tower, and are probably those people who will use a mid range GPU that pulls 200-225W but with 3 fans on the graphics card. They get really sensitive about losing out 5 degrees Celsius.
I also don't get the people that use wired gaming mouse still, it's just not needed, and they use mouse bungee, it's just so crazy to me.
The only thing that you really need "gaming" is the monitor (for high refresh rate, Sync), mouse (for the sensor), headset (I don't know about this, I don't even use mic so I just use earbuds)
