Back in late 2017 when I started uni a built a mini itx budget pc using the fractal design node 202 case. It had a ryzen 1200 cpu, 8gb of ram and a nvidia 1050ti. Recently ive been upgrading it so its now got a ryzen 3600, rx580 and 16gb of ram but the issue is I never put any case fans in and im starting to wonder if thats safe or not. Theres only 2 slots for fans in the gpu section.

Of course you need it can restart 'cause of high temperature.

It can restart anyway, you need a common one.

not enought for CPU cooling compared to intel, ryzen is not very hot CPU but still it will heat pretty decent which can lead to restart and PC issues

if you want to have low temps, then yes. having at least 2+ is the norm today

literally just check ur temps and ull know altho case fans can make a huge diff if you have a shit cooler

I think it's fine in this particular case (ba dum tss!). In the node 202 your gpu should be able to pull sufficient amount of air through the mesh. Same with the CPU cooler as it is most likely a downdraft one (nothing else can really fit, unless you wanna hack in a 120mm aio, but that then requires small gpu...)

That was my thinking, you cant actually fit a fan in the main section of the case so if i installed a fan or two it would only be for the gpu
