How is this dude not arrested yet?! Dylan Groenewegen literally pushed Fabio Jakobsen into the fence. Fabio Jakobsen have been in surgery for 5 hours and hes now in a induced coma. He crushed his palate and bronchus. All bones in his face is broken/got cracks in them. If Dylan isnt arrested for this then i am gonna be shocked.

dirty mdfk, should be in jail
2020-08-06 15:57
Hope he gets in trouble with the police.
2020-08-06 19:03
it was an accident small push in such high speed looks like attempt to kill but its not
2020-08-06 15:58
0/8. "Accident" my ass.
2020-08-06 15:59
people complain always when they dont know how to review slow motion video, i played tennis ten years in my life so my reaction is great few seconds of slow motion and i definately see it was small accident maybe even if he pushed him with bigger force he might have been saved just bad luck
2020-08-06 16:02
Bro. He was literally pushed as he was gonna go over the finish line. If this was a "accident" then Groenewegen wouldnt have been kicked out of the race AND disqualified
2020-08-06 16:03
he can be kicked but still was an accident what kind of murderers do u think exist in bike sport
2020-08-06 16:04
"accident". He shouldnt have done that stupid ass push.
2020-08-06 17:05
you are braindead

exactly, remember Sagan vs. Cavendish at TDF a few yrs ago... people have been disqualified for much less
2020-08-09 23:11
lol no way this was an accident. he pushes him and then tries to cut him off. also there was no reason to even move to the side in the first place other than to cut him off. and wtf has tennis to do with any of that?

Look at his posture leading up to the incident and just after, his body still leaning to the right..clearly the whole thing was intentional
2020-08-06 18:36
2020-08-06 21:19
"Accidental" LOL you probably think Breivik murdered those people by accident
2020-08-07 17:16
the little push looks intentionally but he obv. underestimated the possible outcome of this little push. huge dickhead!
2020-08-06 16:02
plus 1, exactly u probably play good quality of sports if you notice this not like others who judge without reviewing well
2020-08-06 16:03
At first glance, it looks to me as if he just wants to win and gain an advantage with a little bump. He certainly didn't expect to almost kill the other cyclist.
2020-08-06 16:05
2020-08-07 02:40
Isn't he just trying to cut him off from overtaking and the other guy got too close?
2020-08-06 16:03
Nah, Dylan "pushes" him, you can see it if you look really close, hes not doing it with the hand obviously.
2020-08-06 16:04
ye he pushes but he swings on his own couple times he didnt interact in last moments
2020-08-06 16:06
I know that, but the guy never should've tried to get past him in that situation anyway. He's getting cut off and he still keeps trying to squeeze his way past in a smaller and smaller space. The first guy stuck his elbow out to try and stop him from passing, he didn't push him with it. At that point they were too close and the second guy got nudged and fell off. It's hard to say that that was an intentional push off the road imo.
2020-08-06 16:25
Fucking hell, terrible to watch
2020-08-06 16:11
2020-08-06 16:18
Definitely wasn't on purpose to let him fall, that much is obvious to me. But I bet he did vastly underestimate the damage he did have a gross disregard of human life in the situation. I also don't think it was as much of a conscious physical push, as it was trying to balance himself after trying cut Jakobsen off. I do think he should be punished in some way, I just don't know how much.
2020-08-06 16:13
"I do think he should be punished in some way, I just don't know how much." Well, according to Jakobsens "stable manager" they most likely will take "legal action", so.
2020-08-06 16:14
Makes sense, I wonder what he'll be charged with and what the punishment will be (if there will be any, which I hope there will be.)
2020-08-06 16:14
Well...assault...maybe? No idea tbh.
2020-08-06 16:15
More like involuntary manslaughter...minus the slaughter part? Which I guess comes down to some form of assault...Idunno, "involuntary assault" doesn't really exist and wouldn't make sense. But yeah, weird situation.
2020-08-06 16:18
Yeah, lets wait and see
2020-08-06 16:57
you can literally see on video poster guy is falling no one even close to touch him
2020-08-06 16:12
Wtf are you talking about? You can literally see Dylan push Fabio with his bike into the fence.
2020-08-06 16:15
ye he got pushed by him but it was second before doubt that he wanted to push him into the wall
2020-08-06 16:24
Still, should never have done that.
2020-08-06 22:12
Hope that guy is okay
2020-08-06 16:27
He was in surgery for 5 hours last night and then put in a induced coma. Last update i heard: Doctors will wake him up from the coma today or tomorrow.

2020-08-06 17:08

is the cameraman alright? he took a big hit as well
2020-08-06 17:34
Not sure about the other people like the cameraman and other bikers around them.
2020-08-06 17:48
it's judge
2020-08-07 13:06
Hes talking about the dude with the smaller camera at 0:04 with a mobile camera/smaller camera and a white shirt. Doesnt look like a judge? O.o
2020-08-07 13:10 he is "Gigantyczna kraksa na finiszu, kolarze i sędzia w szpitalu." "A gigantic crash at the finish, the cyclists and the judge in the hospital."
2020-08-07 14:26
Cyprus Swishh_
since u are from polando are there any updates on the judge?
2020-08-07 14:49
"Sędzia odzyskał przytomność i jest w stabilnym stanie - przekazał Czesław Lang, dyrektor Tour de Pologne." "The judge has regained consciousness and is in a stable condition - said Czesław Lang, director of Tour de Pologne."
2020-08-07 14:52
i think he was trying to cut spaces to a possible overtake, but didn't think what could happen, huge mistake if not proposital,he should get a huge fine/ban from competitions tho,he could have killed him,but i know nothing about cycling
2020-08-06 18:21
Well, hes "pushing" him, with his body.
2020-08-06 18:31
thats what i thought, the guy that crashed had no time to try to brake or evade the crash, but i think that this could've happened if it wasn't proposital, btw how fines/bans work in cycling?he's alright?
2020-08-06 18:35
No idea how fines/bans etc works. But, i heard that Jakobsens "stable manager" wants to press charges. He had surgery last night for 5 hours and is in coma right now, they are talking about waking him up today or tomorrow, but he broke/crushed every bone in his face and he crushed his palate and bronchus as well and had bleeding in his head. Hes probably not leaving hospital any time soon, but idk.

2020-08-07 02:36
He even leans over to push him into the fence. Thats attempted murder. He knew if he leans over the other guy will be pushed into the metal fence and this just a few meters before the gate and with that speed and zero space left. Disgusting. Hope he guy is ok after they ll wake him up.
2020-08-06 22:47
Yeah, its crazy. Well, his injuries are very bad, so not sure.

2020-08-07 02:06

2020-08-07 02:11
Not concrete. Its a metal fence to keep people away and make a track.

+1 YIKES indeed.
2020-08-07 02:28
Reminds me of good old days, seen some, been in some, but this is next level. I don't think there will be legal stuff, there were more obvious situations with only disqualification and even tho the outcome of this is more severe I don't think something will come out of this.
2020-08-07 13:04
"I don't think there will be legal stuff" Well mate, Jakobsen could literally die from this.
2020-08-07 13:05
From slow motion you can see that he maybe looked back when he was still behind him a bit to the right then he wanted to close the gap so he couldn't pass and didn't expected him to jump so far in front. Its impossible to say if this was accident or not. Both of them know what kind of sport this is. stuff like this happens all the time. (Thinking logically in situations like this is hard from lack of oxygen) putting someone in jail for this would be to far (no matter the outcome) most you could do is disqualify him from racing and even then I don't think its enough evidence. Have seen people getting pushed off cliffs in Switzerland or into a lamp post in Poland. nothing was done about this. This is "part of the sport" and one of the reasons I quit, but he didn't even tho he knows this can happen.
2020-08-07 13:28
"This is "part of the sport" Well, nah. Getting "pushed" into a metal fence isnt part of the sport.
2020-08-07 13:30
like it or not, but being pushed into a metal fence is a thing from start to finish and tbh in this video i don't see any pushing. Sure he didn't kept same race line, but its not something people should go to jail for.
2020-08-07 13:48
"and tbh in this video i don't see any pushing." Because you are not looking closely. Hes pushing him with his body, its easy to see.
2020-08-07 13:48
having contact its not same as pushing, he was going right before the guy was on his right. He even tried to stop(going right), but their handle bars got locked up, so the guy on the left tired to maintain his balance and leaned right.
2020-08-07 13:59

2020-08-07 13:47
Fabio Jakobsen has done same things several times too just not with such an outcome axxaxaxaxa
2020-08-07 13:57
"just not with such an outcome" Exactly. So there is a huge difference.
2020-08-07 13:58
Well u can't ever predict what's gonna happen when u push person at such speed so there isn't really much of a difference
2020-08-07 14:01 so you think he should be considered for oscards? haha idiot i won.
2020-08-09 22:56
Nice, you link me a video in Dutch? I only speak English, Danish and French.
2020-08-09 22:58
hes crying in the video, if he meant to do it i doubt he would cry
2020-08-09 22:59
Of course he is? lol. Hes trying to save his own ass obviously? He could lose sponsors and shit after this push.
2020-08-09 23:01
sure men cry for loosing sponsors im sure athletes lose sponsors contracts get cut everysingle day never heared anyone crying like this because of it, im sure people are sad to see contract not as valuable as it was but i doubt anyone cries over that.

Maybe hes crying cause it could reduce the punishment??
2020-08-09 23:34
hes crying because whole situation but im sure he didnt mean this to happen
2020-08-09 23:35
Belgium Miiyata
Well look at outcome... He deserves a punishment. How big of a punishment is smth we cant decide, let court handle that.
2020-08-09 23:39
sorry men you lost better to admit it
2020-08-09 23:05
0/8. To answer #126: Yes ofc you are gonna cry if you lose sponsors? Lol Do you know how much sports athletes earn by being sponsored by X companies? lol.
2020-08-09 23:10
like you do lol tell us, expert of everything from slow motion tape reviewer, to sponsor expert. btw u asked i saw why i said that i played tennis, if you do some quality sports your reaction is better than someone like you so i could review video tape little better
2020-08-09 23:14
"to sponsor expert" Its not exactly rocket sciene to understand that athletes get HUGE money by sponsors.
2020-08-09 23:17
sometimes money from sponsors has big variations like in tennis, top 3 athletes might earn near 100 million in a year, and if you dont make it in top 10 you may even earn more than hundred times less, or if you dont make it into top 100 you might not make money at all and lose go to debt
