csgo fps not stable
Russia autismus
fps is pretty much same on every resolution around 300+ but in some cases it drops to 200 or even 180 is there any way to make it stable? at least not less than 240? i5-9400f gtx1660 16gb ram
2020-08-06 19:11
Topics are hidden when running Sport mode.
144hz monitor and i can really feel difference between 180 and 300 fps especially on cache
2020-08-06 19:12
bruh i play with 70 really
2020-08-06 19:26
YEs bruh had same issues. Try the CSGO20 FPS by Panj, It is on youtube, it helped me a lot with squeezing an extra 20% fps and stabilise the fps.
2020-08-06 19:29
After this the fps will be the same but more stable as you go down in resolution
2020-08-06 19:30
okay, will give it a shot, ty

That's not how it works?
2020-08-06 19:52
It does. FPS drops above 144 are too easily noticeable even. It just makes the game so choppy.

But surely if it's still 144 FPS you won't notice because you can't see any more frames than the refresh rate of your monitor

smokes and molotovs are dropping fps
2020-08-06 19:13
yeah get a decent cpu, maybe ryzen 5 3600
2020-08-06 19:13
yeah just checked nvm, its normal tho that it drops down to 180 in dm
2020-08-06 19:14
it drops in competitive :| sometimes shoulder peeking in faceit is cancer when it drops +one guy said me to change power plan to high performance and nothing changed in my game, i am sure i need to get stable fps this cpu is pretty enough with gpu to run that kind of fps, maybe there are some pc settings idk
2020-08-06 19:16
hmm still kinda convinced ur cpu could be the problem, like its not bad but maybe it just doesnt fit well to csgo. a friend of mine has a gtx1660 with ryzen 5 3600 and has stable 300 fps
2020-08-06 19:17
idk then, i get it stable but in some moments it just drops on d2 it goes even over 400
2020-08-06 19:18
hast du mal deinen pc ordentlich formatiert und treiber aktualisiert? hast du vllt ram mit langsamer taktrate, oder deine festplatte ist einfach fürn arsch? könnten halt zig potenzielle probleme sein :D
2020-08-06 19:19
i am fakeflag bro
2020-08-06 19:20
everything is correct, cs:go is installed on ssd
2020-08-06 19:21
hmm there doesnt seem to be anything wrong at least, u could do several tweaks to give it a bit of a boost, or if ur playing on 144hz just cap it on 144 fps? then u should definitely have stable fps
2020-08-06 19:33
it's not the same man, it's really different, i can feel huge difference between 180 and 240, even 230 would be enough edit: i have 300 overall but in some moments it goes down :|
2020-08-06 19:47
hwmonitor, install it, check your temps and clock speeds when on load (csgo playing dm f.e.) ur cpu should be fine. which res do you play? 16gb ram? dual channel? 2666 mhz or slower? game is bad optimized though. some maps are terrible and you have frame drops even with high end machines on them.
2020-08-06 20:01
Try underclocking the cpu a bit
2020-08-06 19:35
100% u have drops also on cache train or even inferno when enemy team execute with nades :) this game is just su X
2020-08-06 19:59
it's look like the AC of faceit have an access to the disk at this time and make a sutter freeze a this moment i have install it on my back up HDD and no problems now for me

both of u know nothing about cpus, first of all that website is not accurate, ryzen 3600 is better than i5 9400 second of all it is normal that fps drops to 180 with this cpu
2020-08-06 19:23
Maybe give source on ur assumption before u call other people clueless

u can google and find out that userbenchmark is rigged and also if u had any general idea of how cpus work u would know that 3600 is easily better than 9400
2020-08-06 19:36
lmao this is complete shit site bro, just see some yt benchmarks
2020-08-06 19:18
see what? every other game runs good, apex legends locked on 144 cuz i have 144hz monitor and never goes lower than that, if i remove lock it's about on 180~+ on full hd
2020-08-06 19:19
what about launch options? maybe there is something that csgo doesnt needs it
2020-08-06 19:19
-novid -freq 144 -tickrate 128 -console
2020-08-06 19:20
ingame options? multicore rendering enabled?
2020-08-06 19:21
everything low, 4:3, 1280x1024 it doesn't matter if i play 1024x768 ir 1920x1080 i get the same fps edit: and yes multicore enabled
2020-08-06 19:25
kinda weird tbh :/
2020-08-06 19:25
super weird :( i can't enjoy the new cache, i get 300fps and then in some spots it's like 180 edit: funniest thing tha many says u wont see difference on 144hz if u have 144+fps, fuk i can see it easy from on 200fps
2020-08-06 19:30
I have an i7 9700k and i have massive input lag, my keyboard stops responding for like an entire second. Its not a keyboard issue as i am an accountant and i work with it the entire day as I am working at home. While gaming i can also feel the input lag in mouse some times. Cpu is brand new, and i have a gtx 1060 6gb and 16ram
2020-08-07 08:34
when i tab -90 fps lol

2020-08-06 19:50
+1 I've been having really weird fps issues over the past few days. goes from 200-100 all the time. -freq 144 -refresh 144 -processheap -novid -nojoy -noforcemparms -noforcemaccel -high -tickrate 128 -threads 4 -nod3d9ex -noaafonts +mat_queue_mode 2 +mat_vignette_enable 0 Use these set launch options and see if they make a difference Also in windows go to settings>system>focus assist and then make sure everything is OFF.

those commands with "-" are patched as of today, tickrate is 64 locked on mm servers anyway, the only that would work -novid, but even that is patched: vid is there, but it's replaced with a short vid, plus those refresh rate commands can be controlled in Rivatuner and / or graphics driver
2020-08-06 22:19
-tickrate 128 is to be able to practice utility in your own private server, or play aimbotz, what else in 128tickrate
2020-08-07 08:28
fps_minimum 240

no, but i am thinking of future, soon people will have sadness, that they got 999 fps, but it drops to 950fps, and it's bad. it's known for long time, that csgo engine is from cs:source, it wasn't smooth there either, and cs is not quake, no console commands will save it, no graphics lowering scripts. btw my friend with 70 fps managed to play aimbots and wh, while we 4 had 100fps+ and stable, and he had varied fps, and still was top frag in team, even against cheaters, so what is your problem dude

actually the game is getting heavier bro, i remember in 2016 when i had a i3 2120 and gtx 660 i used to run at 150-200fps constant nowadays this setup doesnt even run 100 fps.
2020-08-06 20:15
i remember times when boys back then were building cs for pc which cost them around 350-400$ with na i3 6100/ i3 7100 + gtx 1050 today that pc won't be able to run this game, also they played with 144hz monitor which was enough for this build but bruh this is not okay, my setup runs up to 400 fps and in some parts when mollys/smokes are on the ground and fights goes on it can drop to 200, i mean not every time but sometimes it does, so annoying...
2020-08-06 21:16
valve just like abandoned the game in the terms of optimizations and fps, fps drops sucks dude i feel it !! gl solving the problem.
2020-08-07 07:59
I have nearly the exact same spec's with one variation, RX 580 8GB instead of the GTX 1660. Even though the i5-9400F should perform better than the Ryzen 5 3600 on most games, I'm starting to think that i5-9400F architecture is not ideal for a poorly optimized game like csgo. I get stable 300 fps at almost every resolution, running on a 144hz monitor. I even jacked my graphics settings up to high and get same results. But every 20s or so, especially when jiggle peaking, or spraying down T's as they rush, I get these significant micro-stutteres or drops in frames. I tried everything you can imagine but the only way I got them to be manageable was by capping my fps at 142 in csgo, using FreeSync enabled with Enhanced Sync and having my graphics settings on Standard/High with 2x MSAA in Radeon settings (this will add 4ms of input lag, total of 8ms input lag on my gfx card vs the 4ms it was before). I wanted to run a stable 300fps with uncapped frames and lowest possible input lag but when doing so, the frame stutters were unplayable.
2020-08-06 20:18
Get at least 9600k@5ghz and 3600 cl16 ram
2020-08-06 21:22
nah then ill need a new pc pretty much,i bought the cheapest and best motherboard for this setup
2020-08-06 21:54
300 stable here 1920x1080 high i5 7400 gtx 950 8gb dd3
2020-08-06 22:31
idk then, my friend has drops with i5 9600k with an rtx 2070 seems like older parts were better optimized for csgo, cuz my processor has 6 cores and 6 threads and even if u check the difference between mine and your processor cpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Intel-Core.. it clearly wins + every other game runs sick without any problems just cs:go likes to drop in some moments to 200, seems like 4 cores is still better for cs than 6 or more
2020-08-07 16:28
Either you are lucky af or you are lying because there's no way you're getting stable 300 with that setup.
2020-08-07 20:14
csgo has literally the WORST performance of any game ive ever played. its actually hilarious
