russians come
Germany joaquinho_mb
as soon as im getting russians in my team when i play a pug in matchmaking, faceit or whatever, i noticed that russians mostly communicate via ingame voice chat, even if they are premates. In the last few days i downloaded a lot of faceit demos because i wanted to analyze my fails and i noticed again that even 5 man full premate russian teams are only communicating via ingame voice chat ... i am curious if there isnt such things as teamspeak or discord in russia?

Topics are hidden when running Sport mode.
more programs open = less fps if they open discord, etc they would go from 40 fps to 20

What's the point of 3rd party applications if you have a full lobby?
2020-08-07 01:08
the point is 1) (for me) when you always have to push a button to talk because you dont have voice activation in csgo voice chat 2) its annyoing for everyone when you have russians in your team and they having small talk all the time
2020-08-07 01:10
1) oh, understandable. Though I use push to talk everywhere 2) Well, yes. For 2, 3 or 4 premades 3rd party app is a must. But I was talking about 5 man lobbies only

im curious if that isnt annoying after some time to push a button all the time ... i hate it xD

when u have f'd up family that are screaming and fighting all the time pushtotalk button is very useful actually

Personally never felt annoyed by that. I would if I used keyboard's key for that, but mouse 4 is fine

Turkish do that all the time too, having full convo in cs voice game, then if you say to be quiet they start to flame and you lose the game. BECAUSE THEY DONT HAVE CELLPHONES IN THEIR COUNTRIES AND NEED THE GAME TO TALK TO EACH OTHER!!! Sorry but i really get mad, can't clutch like this...
2020-08-07 01:26
+1 Also, they have tons of ppl arguing in the background

As a Russian myself I can agree. If there are some players on my team who don't speak Russian and my teammates do (I always soloq), if someone asks "ruski est'?", I never reply and continue speaking English. If they make me mad during the game, I might yell at them in Russian, then I just start speaking my native language and ask them how they feel about it when they don't understand a single word. If there are 4 Russians and 1 Turk, I'd most probably be speaking Russian because Turks usually don't mind that since they always speak only their language themselves. I think it's okay to speak your language in game only if: 1) Everyone speaks it 2) 4 of your teammates speak it and the 5th one is Russian or Turkish 3) 4 of your teammates speak it and the 5th doesn't give a single fuck about communication, then I don't give a fuck about him either and start speaking Russian 4) All those who don't speak your language are dead and there is reason to switch to a non-English language About speaking in-game: I'm the one who prefers speaking in-game only. I'd rather play with those who speak a language I can't understand in-game (in case they switch to English as well), but they try to win and it helps them, than with those who use Discord/TeamSpeak and don't give a fuck about the rest of the team. Oh, if you only knew how I hate them. Nothing can be worse than playing in silence when no one is talking. Sometimes I wish Discord/TS were banned in competitive CS, because it's impossible to even imagine how annoying it is to play with premades who only talk in their voice chat. FOR GOD'S SAKE, SPEAK YOUR FUCKING SWEDISH/GERMAN/TURKISH/ESPERANTO IN GAME, BUT DON'T BE SILENT! I do use Discord/TS sometimes, but it's really not convenient at all. I can never focus because I have to speak both to my premade(s) and the rest of the team, and sometimes it happens that I forget to press the button and say something to my premade, which I was to have said to the rest of the team. So yes, I hate both of the apps, and I really enjoy talking in-game, since the voice chat in CS is pretty convenient and I wish everyone used it and only it (even though I use Discord sometimes when I play with friends MM for fun).

Moreover, when I participated in a tournament that was held by our university, our team decided to use Discord as well (in this case it's right because the casters could hear us if we spoke in-game), and one of the main things I hate is when people don't have the push-to-talk option. Nor did my teammates. I could hear the sound of their mechanical keyboard, their "FUCK", "BLYAAAT'", "HOW DID HE KILL ME", their parents, little siblings screaming on the background, tons of useless into etc. which I wouldn't have heard if they had the push-to-talk option. Even when I use Discord, I only use it with push-to-talk option
