why do people still bet on maps over/under?! (Reasons not to)

1 the odds are designed to be very favourable to the betting company youll never get good odds in this betting 2 there is no incentive for players to win quicker etc so even if a team is up by a lot then they often take their eye off ball and drop a few rounds, or otherwise teams that are well behind just give up 3 over or under youre bet can be totally ruined by just a single dumb decision around a force buy or a bad pistol round costing 2 or 3 unnecessary rounds There is literally no benefit to betting in over under maps If you think otherwise go ahead and explain

what does over under mean?
2020-08-09 12:57
Over under round count 26.5+ Rounds etc my bad

Never done that because its so dumb. Even betting on pistol round (50-50 odds) is more reasonable.

Because sometimes dumb odds is too good. Just forget about the teams and bet on odds.

There is... for example, a shit online tournament with an up and coming team against tier 1 choker NAVI. You can easily get a 4.0+ odds on the up and coming team to take at least 1 map on a b03.

Still better than betting on a soccer team with 1.5 odds to win and they get a red card in 10th minute
