2020-08-09 16:38

2020-08-09 16:40

You should've been used to that after Räikkönen's time on Ferrari...

Got shafted today by Mercedes as always
2020-08-09 16:36
they literally test strategies with him see which one is faster and just mirror lewis after
2020-08-09 16:38
F1 is trash 10% of F1 is racing, 90% is development of the car
2020-08-09 16:39
would say 50/50, thats what makes it fun
2020-08-09 16:44
No, only a few teams have a realistic chance of winning a race. I wouldn't call that 50/50!

It's not 50/50. It's definitely tilted more in favour of who has the better car. More like 20/80 favouring the faster car regardless of who the driver is.
2020-08-09 17:27
If you actually watch it you would know that isn't like that.
2020-08-09 16:48
If you actually watched F1 you would know I speak the truth
2020-08-09 16:50
Tire management/strategy circuits impact on the cars (pretty sure you didn't watch austrian gp) luck/random external to a team/car factor weather impact ...
2020-08-09 16:55
Faster car > slower car Better built car that can handle tires > car that can't handle tires (think Haas) Only a few teams have a realistic chance of winning a race = its not anything NEAR 50/50 "..."
2020-08-09 16:56
''Faster car > slower car'' only in car tests, you clearly didn't watch austria, and I mean Norris got P3... There's no way that a mclaren is 'faster' than a red bull (read #25 again). Wtf do you mean by better built car ? Again, Austria is the answer, we can say that a red bull is of ''better build'' now that max won but it died last in the first gp. Anyway keep thinging w/e you want m8
2020-08-09 17:03
5 races and only winners from 2 different teams. Last year Mercedes won 15 races and only 3 teams won a race. ITS NOT ABOUT THE CAR! ITS ABOUT THE DRIVERS! Yeah, please stop replying to me. It can't be more than a few years since pubic hair started to grow around your little penis.
2020-08-09 17:07
Ok have a nice day Magnussen.
2020-08-09 17:21
In 2018 only 3 teams won a race. Guess which teams? THE SAME 3 TEAMS. THE TEAMS WITH THE BIGGEST BUDGETS. And you think its 50/50 somehow xaxaxaxaxaxa
2020-08-09 17:22
I never said it was 50/50 but its Ok Mr. Magnussen.
2020-08-09 17:23
No, you only made autistic sounds
2020-08-09 17:23
Ok, but at least I didn't get a 5 sec. penalty Mr. Magnussen.

It takes several years and versions of a car for it to be a contender for wins... But look at Ferrari, after decades on F1 can still build a shitty car. The main issue isn't just around F1 isn't big teams having better cars. Car spec rules have a problem, there's a part on the rear wing that causes disturbances on the car behind, specially on turns. The car behind loses downforce and the car gets harder to keep speed on turns without any tyre slip. This makes cars only able to overtake on long straights, this is where the faster cars shine. F1 will try to fix this, applying new rules for 2021 season.
2020-08-09 17:25
Ferrari sucking ass now just proves my point. When they had a good car they could win races, but with a bad car they are not even close to winning anything. Biggest budget wins(most often). Pay to win 'sport'.

Not really, Ferrari's budget is even higher than Mercedes, Red Bull is around half and still wins. One of the new rules is to control Wind tunnel runs. Factories usually run wind tunnels 24/7, mercedes and ferrari run 2 wind tunnels. 2021 the maximum runs per week are 44, and will change according to team success. Mercedes will only make 36runs per week (90%) and Racing Point or other teams worst qualified will run 47 per week (112.5%) Slower cars will catch up in 2022-23. But don't expect them to win, main teams still have a newer version of the engine. Overall, it will become more competitive next season.
2020-08-09 17:41
Yes, really, since the quality and pace of the car is alpha omega in this 'sport'. Same story we heard the last 10 years. "I will be much better next season". It will never happen.

2020-08-09 16:42
+1 just tired of seeing him being the marionete of hamilton
2020-08-09 16:43
well, it was mercedes' fault that he lost his place to ham
2020-08-09 16:44
xaxaxaxa
2020-08-09 16:48
Funny thing that Hamilton was even worse during the first stint in nursing tires than Bottas was. This is totally Mercs fault.
2020-08-09 16:48
What happend to again?
2020-08-09 16:49
James called him.
2020-08-09 16:51
Better strategy form red bull this time, nice!
2020-08-09 16:49
Bottas doesn't have the skill to hold off Max after he pitted unlike Lewis. Bottas was holding back Lewis whole race. Mercedes should of just gave team orders to put Lewis in front and we would of had an epic battle between Lewis and Max
