Tru tho... But the abilities are cool I guess?? that game is basically WASD lol nothing else
2020-08-11 17:32
Yeah it's really visually distracting, theres just too much noise to signal happening with special effects on screen
2020-08-11 05:59
It's shit to play too , garbage game
2020-08-11 16:52
Yeah Hazed, cutler and shahzam being on top teams tells you all you need to know about the scene.

War zone and fortnite probably I can’t give you a clear answer but for the most part we are the biggest casuals out there.

And a lot of console players

valorant pro scene is so faking diverse man. from pubg players to washed up Na pros, sooo good man. I bet a rando faceit lvl10 goes pro in valorant
2020-08-11 06:12
Overwatch MVP swapped to valorant too, but it's 90% ex cs pros

NA CS is just dead guys... This isn't EU/CIS region where the scene is fucking enormous. Tons of investment from orgs, and TOs... Lots of sponsorship and viewership... Tier2/3 scene still healthy. I mean... CSGO is basically surviving off Europe and Brazilian viewership lol. I don't understand how Valve can sit back and not try to revitalize the NA, SA, China, SEA, etc. scenes. Like I know these loot crates and operations make money lol. Just reinvest in your got damn game... Make more operations... Host some regional tournaments... Do fucking something. Ah well... nitr0 leaving is still a rumor though. Probably true tho
2020-08-11 06:17
he's been playing scrims on valorant so it's probably true

Yea NA CS is dead. If people look up the actual player count of NA CS, they'd see it's practically a speck compared to the total player count each day.
2020-08-11 07:16
this, people shitting on valorant because it doesn't thrive like csgo in EU/CIS region, in fact it's the opposite of csgo, valorant seems to thrive on NA region and it looks like Asia region will be expanding too, i'm looking forward to this competition, it'll be great for both games when there's competition
2020-08-11 07:22
CS is irrelevant in NA, there's no competition to be had. CS is the worse product right now.
2020-08-11 17:36
yeah that's it, unless you're a player for a big org than you'll probably have no career in csgo, that's why NA players especially that's not playing for big orgs moved to valorant because there's more competition.

TSM/Sentinals have been kind of fun to watch. At any rate I find this kind of sad. Would have much preferred to see him in C9 or Gen.G. However he's probably going to get paid 20k a month to play Valorant to it's really hard to blame him. Considering the biggest pro's before him to leave were like Hiko, Ska and Wardell I'd imagine he will be a huge commodity. So honestly good for him. NA CS may be dying but Liquid, EG and Gen.G are certainly not and luckily for them they play with Brazilians and Aussies during the corona crisis. Still not a huge pool but it's still by far the second best behind Europe in terms of teams.
2020-08-11 16:43
In a year or two valorant will be bigger than csgo
2020-08-11 16:52
More then likely. But this is because Riot sets up leagues and heavily promotes their games. Where Valve is mostly ok with letting CSGO do it's own thing and basically treat it like a red haired step child in comparison to their baby DOTA 2. In other words CSGO could be the bigger game. It will be Valve's own negligence that allows Valorant to eventually surpass it.
2020-08-11 16:54
it's mostly because valorant has na and east asia by the throat.
2020-08-11 17:01
Nah if valorant gets bigger than cs, it'll be entirely due to valve negligence and incompetence. That game barely has the legs to stamd against cs

The CS scene being "grown organically" per se is what makes it so special imo - I enjoy playing both games and watching competitive play from both games but so much of Valorant seems forced. Riot is much better with regards to esports than Valve is, I agree
2020-08-11 17:37
Probably even quicker. Valve doesn't give a shit, I doubt they even make the major happen somewhere else than Brazil
2020-08-11 17:37
+1 riot will do everything, pour lots of money in the scene, do promotions(remember season 3 lol worlds?) And valve will do nothing to keep cs alive

Valorant is awful, so boring to watch. I don't understand why pros aim for a future in that shit game. (Expect for the money ofc)
2020-08-11 16:45
actually i find it quite fun to watch, everyone has different opinion i guess. at least in valorant its nice, alot of different executes and not always the same one like in csgo. same molly same flash, boring asf. valorant adds some diversity to csgo.
2020-08-11 16:51
Valorant is chaos. There's no map control. The map are so terribly designed I don't even know where to start... The game needs major updates to be ready for competitive play
2020-08-12 03:16
Valorant/Riot does not care if you think their game is boring to watch. What is important to them is if they can lure the young audience/fortnite zoomers. Same with dota and league, majority of old players think that dota > league. But in reality only the old audiences are left supporting dota while league is taking all the young audiences.
2020-08-11 17:05
or mayb just the fact that dota2 is 10 harder than league to master for starters.
2020-08-11 17:05
Same with CS. I play cs occasionally and I will never spend time practicing simple smokes/angles just to improve in the game.

I love how so many NA players want to switch to Valorant because they're too bad to play CS :)
2020-08-11 17:18
Some of them have definitely grown bored of playing CS, and find playing a new, similar game appealing. Not all of them though obviously
2020-08-11 17:32
if you're bad at it and consider yourself a pro = "definitely grown bored of playing CS"
2020-08-11 21:17
