So streaming on youtube should get a boost. Dr. Disrespect is the first step.
At least the PC moderation is a lot less there.
I don't think it's impossible, necessarily, for competition to show up, it's just hard. And personally, idk who or what brand could do it. But I certainly think it's possible.
Mixer, again, just fucked up. Buying some of the biggest streamers isn't enough. Their interface, imo, was pretty shit too. For streamers, better than youtube, at least. (youtube's streaming section is really really bad to discover smaller streamers and specific games u want to watch), but still shit.
So yeah. I think if / when youtube / facebook streaming becomes *serious* comeptition, then maybe some rich people will realise the potential that livestreaming websites have? And not just have it as a pet-project like microsoft did with mixer lol.
