Which symbol is the correct one for: Family - Faith - Love - Warrior - I´ve google some but its almost always two types of "styles". Like Family: encrypted-tbn0.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn%.. or i.pinimg.com/600x315/d6/b4/f6/d6b4f67370.. Its for a tattoo and i´ve no idea

the first one is also family, but it's like literal family, ie your parents and siblings etc things like warrior and faith are difficult cuz they don't make sense without context maybe. they would be too literal

it's still family but it's more like, in a general sense. for example it would not necessarily mean blood relation, i guess

The single one (ie, ya, uchi) is generally used as the kanji for house/home which I guess has connotations of family, but I wouldn’t say it means family

haha so family in japanese/mandarin means multiple things? I tought family was one symbol (word) not 2-3 different symbols meaning different types of "family"

japanese =/= mandarin so in conclusion - the single character one means something like "home" and the one with multiple characters is probably the closes you get to "family"... if the pronounciation from google is correct the japanese "kazoku" also sounds a little simillar to korean "gajog" so i guess its the right word?

idk mandarin, but i'm assuming if you say you're building a house, you would not use jia.. even though it can mean house in different contexts but if you refer to something eg cao family, or wei family, you can use cao jia or wei jia. no? for a tattoo it is too weird to use the 2 characters, imo
2020-08-28 01:36
No please do not make a tatoo like that. It is so dumb and cringy and you will have that shit forever. I do not mean to hate and its your body and whatever but I really do not like people tattooing random symbols that they do not even know how to read.

there are three main words for love in japanese: koi, ai, and renai koi and renai both mean more romantic love, and ai is a general "love", can mean familial, love for friends, or just the concept. based on your other comments you are probably looking for "ai" which is this kanji: images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I..

warrior would be senshi, bushi is more "samurai" than just regular warrior. there is also heishi but that is more like "soldier" in an army instead of a warrior this is senshi: japanesewordswriting.com/wp-content/uplo.. also faith is a weird one because there is no direct translation really, there are different words for "faith" like in religious context, regular "belief" or "conviction", and for faith as in "trust", they are all very similar but still different

Use taiwan or korean version of characters. Because its the original version of characters. China mainland, japan use shorten version of characters which is made for low IQ poor peasants

New trend? Japanese tattoos is like a leather jacket. Never gets out of style, never gets old and is always nice. Japanese tattoos have been along since: 10,000 BC-300 BC as warrior painting

"Japanese tattoos have been along since: 10,000 BC-300 BC as warrior painting" - Tattooing for spiritual and decorative purposes in Japan - Such designs were thought to have spiritual significance as well as functioning as a status symbol - It was in the Edo period however, that Japanese decorative tattooing began to develop into the advanced art form it is known as today. If you want to write a foreign name in japanese you are going to use katakana to write it jpvisitor.com/images/content/20171017/85.. Since in japanese after a consonant there is almost always a vowel, foreign names have to be written a bit differently for example: Michael turns into maikeru Zeepter turns into Zeeputeru there is no l or c. l and r are the same so you would kind of write the names how a japanese person pronounces it. you can probably find this better explained in youtube video or something.
