Steel GAVE UP OMEAGLUL
Denmark DanishBaiter
After knowing he wouldn't get unbanned for the match-fixing he decided to play valorant professional like Brax

Topics are hidden when running Sport mode.
probably just got offered a bunch of money by 100T

He's been foreshadowing this for a long time, he knew eventually he'd have to leave
2020-08-31 21:25
for sure. based on the HLTV interview it seemed obvious this was coming. just didn't expect it this soon
2020-08-31 21:30
i have read the interview, but i didn't see the signs of him leaving, which part do you mean?
2020-08-31 22:28
"With that Valve ban situation, how far do you think the team can go as it is right now? I mean, the team can go as far as it can go within the limitations. Like we could theoretically win big titles, we just can't participate at those events unless they want to use a stand-in for me. So I think the question that you're asking would be if is there is going to be a point where they're going to be like, 'Alright, steel, we want to play at these other events because we think we're good enough to place and perform really well at them, we're going to have to move on,' then I think yes, that's probably something that's going to happen down the line at some point — it's just a matter of when. But for now, it's kind of one step at a time." So it made sense he was probably going to leave eventually when the rest of the team was ready to make it to those events. saying this and then leaving so quickly afterward is strange. It's why I think he must have received an offer too good to pass up
2020-08-31 22:32
yeah i can see that, thanks

100T buy everyone??? Nitro,Hiko...
2020-08-31 22:14
nadeshot seemed pretty pissed about all of his teams results, maybe he's actually doing something about it. steel would be a huge get in my opinion. especially for early in lifespan of valorant

I don't like his actions very much, but I have to agree that he really plays well and can help 100T

steel hiko and nitro? sounds like too many minds
2020-08-31 23:24
Hiko wasn't even IGLing in the previous iteration of 100T and nitr0's mind seems vastly overrated.
2020-09-01 01:18
Also probs just no motivation in csgo knowing his team can go to the major and he can’t play

Good riddance, he made the entire scene look shabby
2020-08-31 21:31
Really? Competing professionally for 5 years and always staying devoted to the game despite having a permanent ban from the biggest events made the scene look shabby? Bringing multiple teams to the top 30 who clearly had no business being there without steel's guidance, was it that? Stop being an idiot.

When a pro boxer trows a match the whole sport is affected negatively. Search on yt "worts matchfixes" and you'll get an earfull on IBP and the CSGO scene
2020-08-31 21:41
Yep, the entire CS:GO scene clearly went up in flames after steel & co. stole a few hundred dollars worth of skins from bettors in a meaningless CEVO match. Idiot.

Lmfao yeah cuz immediatly after 10000 orgs flew instantly to the US to hire teams, nurishing the scene like what happened on EU By the way you've called me an idiot like 3 times, might wanna get as creative as you are "smart"
2020-08-31 22:09
You realize iBP isn't the only team that threw a match right? You ever heard of Epsilon? And since you are incapable of counting to two, let me reiterate this point: you're an idiot.

Yeah the UK scene also doing great... Tbh I might report you just for gigs
2020-08-31 23:17
There must've been a shit ton of throws in the African and Asian CS scenes then, considering how terrible they are, right? Do you actually think at all when you are arguing with someone or do you just say the first thing that comes to your mind?
2020-08-31 23:51
Yeah, let's ignore CLG and Liquid hiring teams at the same time those players were banned, Tempo Storm/Optic coming shortly after, Faze which was NA based, acquiring an EU team 1 year later. Tournaments kept getting bigger prize pools, new casters wanted to hop on the csgo bandwagon for the money (Sadokist for example). The iBP incident hardly had any impact on the scene's growth.

Tbh CLG became the vultures of the scene... You do have a point, but I still think it affected the image of the scene, specially in NA

valorant is the the place you go when you aren't good enough to be a professional in other shooters it seems... or I guess if you are banned in the other games, like in this case
2020-08-31 21:34
He'll regret this move in a year or two when he loses in spot due to actual good Valorant players rising to the top, same exact thing as when he switched to OW.

valorant is much better than ow

Just as he and his team obtained all the attention needed to thrive. That's weird.

His work is done now. He finally created a worthy team that can carry on without him. Or he just got offered a fat pay check lol.
2020-08-31 23:25
So valorant is just full of CSGO has-beens and cheaters/match fixers huh?

idk i saw him crying on stream about cs go because he couldn't stream it for some reason, like bro not everything in life is gonna be perfect but instead of fixing the problem trying different things he was crying the whole time and blaming valve, if that isn't a first world problem then i dont know what is.
2020-09-01 02:28
ez ban
2020-08-31 22:30
He could just stick to cs and earn ez money playing in tier4 lvl

They already have Steel + Brax + Skadoodle in Valorant. Just two more to go and they could revive the banned IBP team... Edit: Dazed was also looking to play Valorant

Yeah.. you`re right. AZK plays with brax and ska.

too many roster moves for him and he cant compete at all tournaments, and many of his players can just get poached out of nowhere. he is trying to compete on the hardest mode possible
