Well money and achievements relatively also go hand in hand. While you might recieve a nice paycheck, most orgs will cut pay in NA if they don't think youre achieving enough. LoL is really bad on that though, you win there. NAs actual like org scene is really terrible on that. The FGC is the best example of what my counter argument is, as most are paid based on achievements. The real answer probably does lie somewhere in the middle though, as orgs typically arent going to spend big money on a player who is flatout bad, that wont contribute to the team in whatever their role might be. Its a weird dynamic imo that even if youre terrible in all aspects of the game, but can fill a utility role well, and won't always be a complete deadweight, then you can still be a viewed as a top player, even of you arent winning events.
