Igling is the most overrated thing on csgo pro scene.
What does a igl do ? Basically he chose if they go B or A, or if they CT if they must retake or not.
So why do they exist ? Well imagine in the middle of the game, 5 players debating if they should go a or b? they would lose too much time deciding it.
thats the truth.
Well an igl might also say positve things like " I KNOW U GUYS CAN DEFUSE THE BOMB, I TRUST U, GO GO GO"
so stop saying so many bullshits about "niko" and any other igl, if you put dupreeh as igl in Astralis 2018/19 they still would be dominant, its about teamplay, not igling.
ence with aleksib- #2 in the world, major grand final
ence without aleksib - dropped to #28 in the world and havent won an event for over a year an a half
faze with karrigan - major grand final, #1 in the world
faze without karrigan - have done nearly nothing relevant, are 0-5 in EPL S12
sergej with aleksi - top 20 player in the world, seen as the #1 young talent in the world, an absolute monster
sergej without aleksi - negative kd every game, below 1.00 rating, now seen as another bad support player
You are so wrong, and have little understanding of the game.
A great IGL is what makes the team among the best in the world, compared to just a team.
Even if you have all the best players in the world. if you do not have a good foundation and a good IGL it wont matter.
Look at NAVI and so on.
With a strong IGL you can take average players and lift the team up to be more than the induvidal power. but the combined power.
there are a lot you dont see and here..
But you can believe what ever you want to.
It does not make it right, it does not change facts.
Thats the good thing about facts. even if no one believes in them they are still the correct thing.
igl is important cause if you look at niko he doesnt know how to put his players and being stars but karrigan can do that like rain is good with a proper igl but a stupid one like niko so igl is very much important
