am i the only one who thinks the USP is way too OP, i understand the 1 shot HS and everything but 12 bullets is too generous make it carry 9-10 rounds so the p2000 can have a chance to be popular

Not really...only frustrating thing is its running accuracy at short and mid ranges....aim chest and hit mist of ur bullets while running is just giving bad players chances to get too lucky

not sure what kind of players you play against but i wish people would run and gun with deagle cuz that shit is random AF. what happens more often is that someone swings wide and either counter strafes double taps you or crouch spams you. unless you instantly hit a headshot on them or they get really unlucky there is nothing you can do.

It really isn't though. Deagle is only good for one at best, unless your enemy fucks up and don't trade. If you die to the spam you are trash and deserve to die.

I think that a 700$ gun should not have 1 shot potential against enemies with head armor. But I can obviously see that the gun brings a lot of excitement to the game so it's fine, but I wouldn't mind seeing it go to 850$ or 900$

Headshot damage is not the only thing that matters. If you are playing a close angle you are going to be better off with a five seven or a cz anyways because of fire rate and accuracy. I would much rather have a cheap and powerful gun that is difficult to use than an expensive and powerful gun that takes no skill to use (see awp)

I agree, and I should have been more precise with argument. The close range combat is not what I find broken about the deagle, as you say a five-seven does similar things for a cheaper price. The long range 1 shot headshot is what makes it extremely strong for the small price of $700. Imo they could make it a bit more expensive and people would still go for d-eco rounds

But my point is that it is a trade off. The long range hs means that you need to out position your opponent to be effective. The deagle already costs a smoke and two flash bangs, thats a lot of utility. More than that would make it completely unviable.

who said they get to trade? unless you play in one of those "guys let's all stick together and push somewhere giving cts complete map control", then sure, you should be able to trade. do you really want to forfeit all map control on anti eco rounds all the time though? this is the kind of approach that leads to teams pushing 4 or 5 men stacks and looking stupid.

Mate. It only takes one person to trade. You don't take map control alone. Two people holding pushes or something, 3 people taking map control. Once they have control over a part of the map they can go back and take another part of the map, or commit if they are given enough entries and control. Csgo basics.

yeah, okay let's pretend that all the teams out there have perfect defaults every single time, lurkers always play it super safe, all positions are 100% tradable and pugs don't exist. gotcha mate. with all that considered, even if you do get traded, i don't think there should be a world where you absolutely MUST hit a headshot on a crouch strafing enemy or you lose the duel to a body shooting pistol.

Lurkers don't exist in 2020 and they don't matter either if you default properly. Hitting headshots is not difficult, especially on the ranges we are discussing lmao. And no, you wont insta die. His shot is still more difficult to hit than yours. If he wins the duel consistently, he is better than you.

i agree with most of what you said though i do think you are being too idealistic. i think we don't see "enough" of this broken shit in pro games because pros would rather try hitting a deagle headshot than go for the double tap body shot. i've been on the giving end of a deagle double body shot way more often than on the receiving end and this is precisely why i think this shit is broken.

So learn how to hit a fucking headshot then? I only get double body shot when i choke, because if someone tries to body shot me i will take his head off. Just get better at the game instead of crying about balance. Same thing for pros. We don't see this "broken shit" in pro games because if you are even half decent at the game it is not viable.

yes just like the scoped weapons weren't viable because pros were too busy perfecting their ak/m4 spray instead of adapting. im holding my X down bro. btw mind telling me why pros spray at all? like why would you do that? you can just shoot them in the head and if you miss it obviously means you are just not good enough and need to be better, right? like spraying is totally not viable because you'd just instantly get headshot.

Usp is fine as it is, it does get pretty inaccurate when you shoot fast so i feel it's balanced the way it is right now. Generally CS doesn't need that many changes in terms of gun balance

p2k is LITERALLY the same just has different skin and feel to it i personally use p2k cus i like to have more ammo also i would choose glock over usp at short/mid distance it stops enemies from strafing like crazy (if u hit them once). AND spamming glock feels like heaven
