> knows SK gaming is going to shit in early 2018 > join MIBR, add stewie and tarik for hype and clout > win one T3 tournament > never try anything for the next 2 years > milk sponsor money (betway lul), merch profit, etc. > cry on twitter sometimes to convince fans you are still trying > disband > easy money

Or spend it all on his own brand which a handfull of Brazilians can afford.

and now he will build a LG/SK team. N ow that Niko will leave FaZe, Cold will be looking for other teams. FNX is on Boom (ez to buy). Fer and TACO are FA. Whole CS community will hype this team, and ofc they will fail, but he is going to get a lot of sponsors. Fallen is the GOAT.

"> knows SK gaming is going to shit in early 2018" SK/mibr never dropped bellow 8th during the entire year of 2018, in fact they were top5 in lots of months.

I think it's the fault of brazilian fans and orgs not to acknowledge sooner Fallen was half the hero he used to be. 200IQ Fallen kept milking an org for money because he was "a legend" and people ignored how bad results kept being with him as an IGL because he had some sort of legacy they'd rather remember. "Let's just keep changing players but keep the IGL and his tactics. That'll work!"

Every single one of us would milk the org. You have a very small window to make as much money as you can in CS. It's a young persons game. Once this shit is done he has to find another way of making a living. Who in the right mind is going to walk away from the type of money he's making for playing a game? If someone is going to keep paying him, I hope he stays till he's 60. It's easy for us to talk.

I don't disagree. But your legacy means everything in this game. No one really remembers how many titles or mvp awards you won. People in the CS community often only remembers the last impression you made on them. Guardian is completely forgotten as an example. I haven't heard his name for months. And what is it? Less than a year since he left Faze, failed in navi etc? And who talks about Guardian now? Who watches the game anymore and think "KennyS is the craziest slick awper out there" ? People's legacy are quickly forgotten in this young sport. And maybe Fallen and mibr has enough domestic fans to live off. Maybe Fallen has a big enough legacy in Brazil and charm to live a cozy life of streaming? But I don't think Fallen and the mibr squad will only be remembered for their success but also the way it fell apart.

Money is more important than legacy. That's a fact. His legacy will always be the igl who made the Brazilian scene. As soon as FalleN retires, he won't be talked about again after 6 months. Would you rather make as much money as possible, secure your future, or have a legacy that only small number of 16-25 year olds know about. Literally everyone gets forgotten about.

That depends how long you want to thrive off your legacy. As I said I don't know Brazil or how popular these guys are there so I can't say anything with a bit of knowledge. But it seems to me streaming in Brazil can be rather lucrative and there's a reason why most players speak portugese on social media. They know their fans and appeal. But really, I don't know.

He probably enjoys playing competitively. FalleNs legacy is set in stone. As is NEOs even though he dropped off big time. People who come from 1.6 don't care how poor NEO was in CSGO, because we saw the god he was in 1.6, and that isn't forgotten. In my mind, especially at FalleNs age, you keep milking it till the last day you can. We all would.

almost true it worked for both sides mibr ex sk/luminosity is brazil legend for wining 2 majors they are like heroes in Brazil so all stuff with mibr was hot they probably gain a lot of money but mibr have other plans they want to be best team in brazil not training dummy for random European teams.
