Get military recruitment out of my esports and twictc
Albania Quarkz
The US army spends money and manpower (tax payer money nonetheless) to make an impression in Esports. Here's my take on it; They'd be shouting if China's Republic Army started doing the same. So why should anyone else be allowed? Let's hate on these "military" teams and streamers. Got warfare out of my hobby please. Get these mf'ers out of esports and streaming.

"Propaganda has been effective"? From anti-US propagandists like yourself claiming US military is a terrorist organization? Because everyone here seems to agree with YOUR propaganda.
2020-09-20 13:26
the "propaganda" YOU are talking about came as a result of US propaganda. and propaganda doesn't equal false so..
2020-09-20 14:44
So you're actively admitting to promoting anti-US propaganda. Thank you for admitting that. And which propaganda are you specifically talking about from the US side?

US military doesn't intentionally target civilians, which is the main component of terrorism.

Yeah its just a recruitment scam masked as an esports team
2020-09-20 11:04
i like it because i feel like it contributes to esports being legitimized, and also that china example you set is absolute bs
2020-09-20 11:07
Why is that absolute bs? You don't think there's any sort of esports scene or streaming scene in china? "Feel like it contributes to esports being legitimized". Yeah I'm sure the US military cares a lot about esports being legitimized and that's why they spend tax dollars sponsoring teams and streaming, I'm sure it has nothing to do with recruitment but is all about getting esports recognized. Do you pour bleach on your cereal in the morning or something?
2020-09-20 11:15
yes but its just going to be on huya not on primarily english services like twitch, so it wont really bother anyone who doesnt use chinese streaming services
2020-09-20 11:15
Could you be more racist and non-caring? "Yeah but ISIS only recruit via arabic streaming service so who cares?" It's spoonfed propaganda. The shit we're supposed to be against. Not bend over to and say "wow military so nice. Why go study if I can headshot people on daily basis IRL?"
2020-09-20 11:17
how is that racist and "non-caring"? the difference between the US and china doing it is that the US isnt a communist dictatorship who kills or imprisons anyone who doesnt have the same opinion, china is, same with ISIS, the ones who have access to streaming services will know what ISIS do and what theyre about
2020-09-20 11:20
It's fucking brainwashing kids and straight-up propaganda "Yeah but it's the right kind of propaganda" What a deluded mindset not unlike chinese authoritarians.
2020-09-20 11:32
how is it brainwashing them? do you know what brainwashing is? its not like youre going to join the army if you dont actually want to, they dont force you to, and also they arent showing propaganda movies, with actual war, clips of enemy things that they destroyed or how bad the other government is, which is proganda and brainwashing, but they arent doing that
2020-09-20 11:35
I can tell you clearly don't know how brainwashing works. Or how impressionable young people are. Do you think americans thought "hey let's torture some prisoners here in Abu Ghraib" or that it was a process, day by day, that made them capable of doing so? Do you think every child in germany spend 8 hours a day listening to nazi propaganda to want to join the military? Listen, in their streams they keep mentioning sites to go sign up for a contract when you turn 18. It's straight-up recruitment and I won't stand for it. (Oh but they can choose themselves). Have you ever heard of grooming? Slowly changing the minds of young people to make them willing to do gross stuff? This is the same but with a recruitment purpose in mind.
2020-09-20 11:45
Can you tell me how they’re changing someones mind? And sure, let them recruit if the people that consider joining the military because of the ad that they’re showing, it’s their own decision at the end of the day
2020-09-20 11:56
You know nothing about how brainwashing or grooming works. You think people go watch some e-thot thinking "oh I want to spend $100 bucks today on a random streamer"? No. You build up a relationship, drop a hint here and there about things and once people are lured in you start to be more specific and plant ideas in their heads. Do you even understand the concept? You think Scientology and sects just go talk to someone and they're like "yeah I'd totally love to join" 5 minutes later? Do you understand ideas of persuasion or that kids are more susceptible to that than adults (hence why the military aren't allowed to "actively" try to recruit people under 17 in the US but keep finding ways to plant those ideas in their heads so they sign on at age 17? If you really don't understand it I can't help you. If you really think commercials doesn't make an impact on what you buy, I can't help you. Keep living in that fantasy world of being totally in control and not influenced by anything.
2020-09-20 12:04
So you don't actually oppose US military advertising on Twitch, but you oppose the way they do it currently? Or is any US military advertising by default brainwashing and propaganda?

except nobody thinks like that lol ,you're deluded with anti us sentiment

I once met this Hispanic kid on a train and he said he was really into COD and hopes to join the army. COD really is a recruitment tool for the us military

Wow surprising that a kid that likes military related things might want to join the army, 95% of the military is not combat related anyways

ESL VP of Product development, James Lampkin, tweeted that game journalists criticizing US Navy advertising on ESL channels are just "insecure", and went on to write that people should not make a distinction between military and video games :D An absolute 7 iq twat, deleted all those tweets pretty quickly (I guess some higher-up spotted a red flag and told him to delete)
