2020-09-21 02:09
it means playing it will repel women away from you
2020-09-21 02:10

2020-09-21 02:19

"I am annoyed by those 1800 - 2000 that beat me - they don't deserve it I think" literally if someone have 200-400 elo more than you, its only miracle to win. If you barely study any theory you shouldnt be shocked because chess is all about memory and if you are not practising openings, variations etc you will most likely always stuck in the same level because you have nothing to outplayed your opponents If you have money just look for some teacher- thats the best way to improve yourself really fast
2020-09-21 02:13
my opening are quite good - cuz i check best move with the engine i make mistake in middle game and end - game

Openings only matters on the newbie level, real game starts up after opening and a lot of players like to trade everything just to make an endgame so if you going to remember variations and continuation in most of openings that people commonly play and remember all the best moves from them, i think you can try to face some 1900-2000 Also Lichess ranking is kinda innacurrate, comparing to chess.com theres about 200-400 elo difference if comes to skillwise
2020-09-21 02:20
up or down?

Chess, com is better than Lichess in that case
2020-09-21 09:31
i made account on chess.com and it's shit af ppl don't resign and w8 try to win for time end pathetic
2020-09-22 06:46
Lol I'm 2000 on blitz 2100 bullet classical and I don't "study theory" either. I make tons of giga retard moves too, I'm not even good. "I can't get further because I don't study openings" is bullshit, sorry bro. It's a common crutch saying for bad players. Hell, I used to say it, now I just recognize I don't improve any more bc I'm not good enough. GM's study openings. You don't need to.

when i saw the words "annoying" and "boring", i thought about this quote "You can only get good at chess if you love the game" -Bobby Fischer
2020-09-21 02:27
i like playing, but learning it outside the game it's a different story

tbh, we just become better by studying the theory because that 1800-2000 should have at least read one book already gms, ims, all of them have read books on their lives you cant expect to know who to play the game if there is a guy who read a book which talks about all the exp chess had on its, idk, 3k history
2020-09-21 02:35
with engines it's all has changed, books and history might be outdated
2020-09-21 02:42
No, for understanding the moves suggested by engines you need to have the good knowledge and understanding of chess. Without these, you'll just waste your time. So you should read books or you can watch some YouTube lectures.
2020-09-22 07:21
Stop playing E4, study some theory and start playing more modern openings. Personally, I almost always play Nf3.
2020-09-22 07:03
i play D4
2020-09-23 19:49
In this rating you should focus on your endgame skills and practice tactics. The tactics will help you in middle game. For opening you said that you don't like to learn theory, so you should play openings which are simple and doesn't require too much effort. Ex: London system for white and old indian defence (also known as black lion if played against e4) for black. And finally, if a particular girl is into chess, then maybe you have a chance with her otherwise not much :)

try playing longer time-controls it'll help you practice analyzing
2020-09-22 07:21
yeah i usually lose on time in 3+2 despite my posiotion beeing better, but it's good to pratice "automatic moves"
2020-09-23 19:51
I used to be around 2300 before I quit, the only tip I can give you is to study theory and learn from your mistakes. There is no real way around it, you will get beaten by opponents who know better than you, they can see after your five moves that you don't have experience and don't use any real strategy.
2020-09-23 19:58
Imagine not having eZ 2000+ while never practicing.

Chess is extremely addictive for me... Had to quit 2 months ago, fun game, but I am not returning. Only reached 1500 blitz tho
2020-09-23 19:53
I would probably recommend doing a bit of theory if you are stuck at a level, personally helped me when I started doing a bit of theory
