check for windows updates and shit.
I had horrible framedrops the other day when playing league on my laptop from 100+ to literally 1. Turns out it was a bitch and updating during gaming, maybe check that first.
Are you poor or something ? buy a new pc lol
Shit processor first of all.
Reinstall windows. latest update
safe most important files and format all drives
Just get a proper pc, no point playing video games if you lag and can't even have good experience.
check what is wrong from task manager
does your pc become hot/loud when you start gaming? what is your temperatures?
probably because of time, if you play a lot in community servers, it downloads surf, kz, fun maps, sounds, models etc. You can manually delete them (there are guides at the internet) or if you want to manually delete them, back up your config and settings then uninstall the csgo then download it. My CS:GO folder (SteamLibrary, steamapps, common, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive) is 28.5 GB right now. and keep your windows clean as the other users said.
how are ur temps if CPU temperature is high it might cause throttling resulting in fps drops this mostly happens to laptops but can also be the case with PC's if u get a lot of dirt or have poor thermal paste
Dont listen to those retards you should be getting 150fps minimum in this trash game with this setup , check drivers , check for viruses or some shit , in your position I would just fresh install windows , should help man
check dvd-writter, remove DVD and run benchmark again.
1. thermal paste
2. clean ur pc from dust
3. update all drivers (Avast driver updater)
4. clear ur desktop
5. turn off all auto-launch apps
that system definitely shouldn't struggle that much unless your cpu or gpu are thermal throttling, your drivers have an issue, or you're running the game at 1440p or something.
Before you start putting new thermal paste or anything, do a stress test on your cpu and gpu.
prime 95 is good for the cpu and heaven benchmark on gpu, both of them are also free.
you can look for the temperatures with Cpuid HWmonitor.
Also dust inside the pc can cause slowdowns.
What are your CPU and GPU usage (percentages)?
Also make sure that you go on google and download more ram, and put the whole bottle of thermal paste on your CPU, the down side where there are spiky pins
And now i have 1 question, how are temps?
if software problem,
1. install windows clean
2. install all application
3. install drivers
4. final install must be nvidia driver, reason: some software conflict other. a app can be harmful damage driver
if hardware problem
1. Check mainboard, suitable or not /everest or temp checker/
2. check ssd /hiren's boot or hdd healthy checker/
3. cooling system and overheat
4. psu performance suitable or not
5. sata cables
6. check ram with hiren's boot memtest
7. network or something delay, ping to router.
You should get 150 fps easy. Try and use some launchoptions, check for driverupdates, play stretched? windowssettings?
Its the DVD writer. im 100% sure
